In Australia we still don't have itunes movies, or tv shows for purchase, probably not rentals either... The only real advantage for me to go to Take 2, would have to be the airtunes feature. I love airtunes and have a bunch of airport express throughout my house connected to different room stereo equipment. Everywhere except my family room (where the ATV is). When/If I upgrade to Take 2 It will be great to have the airtunes running...

only 720p? who watches 720p anymore...streaming should be 1080i as for discs they all should be 1080p...check out vudu=so much better than apple tv
either get VUDU or netflix. Since netflix will soon be allowing you to view on demand through your ps3 or xbox 360 !
Seriously though, why pay 4.99 per movie to view when you can pay $15 a month unlimited blu-ray rentals or dvd's or even unlimited on demand
Plus netflix has more of a selection

Who watches 720p? People who acutally care about picture quality. 1080i is a joke. Don't drink the kool-aid, brother.

This update definitely makes me want the ATV. HD was the MAIN reason I spurned the ATV idea from the get-go. Apple is keeping with their tradition of "first release is OK, subsequent released are much better."
