I just picked up Anna TODAY. And I can already do combos that are 60%-80% damage.

These combos in the video are way to simple.

@Elbottoo Because this is a magic 4 combo video. Not her highest damaging juggles. Very few characters get their most damaging juggles off one of those.

@Elbottoo She doesn't suck. She's a solid mid. She just doesn't get anything as safely or easily as she once did. Her new mixups are VERY viable ad dangerous when the opponent guesses wrong and she's way more fun to play.

@xOmniCloudx Shes been nerfed. She and Feng were top dog pokers in T5DR. Now everyone can poke like champs. What did Anna get in return for it? Nothing and nada. At least Feng can still play like a turtle.

@Elbottoo She got a far better mix up game and her CJM stance is awesome in BR since it auto low parries and gives her full launch as well as auto reverses grabs and counters with a non reverseable one. Some of her useless moves like SS+3 got changed into useful moves or a new animation which made the attack over all better and. she has great frame traps In Vanilla T6 she was top tier despite having less stuff than her BR counterpart. BR's new spacing and wall system is what nerfed her most

@Elbottoo That and making her unsafe on stuff she should be safe on (on SS1+2 is a safe launch in BR and that move is too slow to use reliably most the time) or denying her things like her WS+2 which can't launch punish some of the heavy stun moves on block that it should be able to. Her poking game wasn't hurt by everyone having universal 10 frame jabs since not everyone has a good poke game in BR. She still has one of the best poke games in BR due to good mixups and jail strings without CH.

@xOmniCloudx You just dont get it. Yes, she is still good at poking but poking by itself has become worthless. Because 1) you need to get extremely close to your opponent. Range doesnt exist for anna and feng, you run in and a well time launcher can launch you and take half you energy bar. So poking is EXTREMELY high risk. And 2) because of 10 frame jab counters. You poke and poke and poke and they can interrupt you with simple 1,1, 2 or some shit like that.

Anna is nerfed. 1+1 = 2 simple math.

@Elbottoo Plus CAT in itself pays off far more in BR because of bound and wall carry and eating most her CJM mobes on CH gives her a free juggle. Anna in BR is a high risk high reward character. When it pays off it pays off. When it doesn't you get punished good. She's still solid in BR. Just not top tier material. She's a very viable mid and seeing as BR is far more balanced than DR and even Zafina who flat out is the worst character can dominate then Anna being a mid isn't a big deal in BR.

What about Fengs pokes? lmao dont work for shit against lars and allisa spammers. So you mastered anna's pokes and only to lose against someone who uses the same juggling spamming moves over and over again? Poking is high risk and it just aint worth it.

In other words, anna is nerfed.

@xOmniCloudx Trust me lol. Im a good Anna player in T5DR. Not the best but my Anna was feared. I make use of mix ups to confuse, high juggles for massive damage and I was a bulldog. My Feng is super good in T5DR having mastered every element of his style. They are both way stronger in T5DR compared to the rest. In T6BR they are both AVERAGE compared to some of the other characters. If thats not called being nerfed than I dont know what it means.

@Elbottoo Have you been listening. I never said she wasn't nerfed. It's clear as day that BR nerfed the fuck out of her. Most characters in T6 and BR are far weaker than their 5.0 and DR counterparts. What I said is that she's still viable. Low tiers and mid tiers have been dominating in BR due to how balanced it is. Prince's Kuma was on par with Sunchip's Bryan who was the second best Bryan in Korea and first when Knee was gone and mid tiers like Miguel have won tourneys and even beat Knee.

@Elbottoo She's good enough in this game and there are MANY characters worse than her. Every character in BR is toruney viable save Zafina and Yoshimitsu which is still arguable. Anna is leagues better than them both. She isn't top tier in BR but she's still very far from being trash and high level Anna players are still dangerous. 200won, hypersky, ccer, Persom and other high level Annas in BR have done fine in Korea with other high level players who played flat out superior characters.

BR is far more balanced than DR since almost every character in the roster has had GREAT success rate at high levels of play and the roster pickings have been very varied fr many tournies (mostly outside the US). There's been low tiers making it to the finals and winning as well as mids and such. In BR it's true more than ever for you to pick who you feel comfortable with since the game is balanced enough for everyone to stand a chance. DR had matches set in stone.

It is not true that the game is more balanced. You need to perform way more for some characters like Anna and Feng, than say Alissa. Yes, Kazuya is nerfed too. But the fact is that he is still strong as hell which means he was out of balance before. But Anna has never been powerhouse good. And today she is mid to low.

Conversation was over long ago. Anna (and Feng) got nerfed hard. Period. They have no range in T6BR, they have low damage, and they need to take high risk strategies to defeat the opponent.

@Elbottoo If you want to play a REALLY nerfed character from DR to BR play a Mishima. Mostly Kazuya. That man was nerfed so incredibly bad from his DR counterpart it is flat out unforgiveable. But despite his SUPER nerfs he's still mid tier (him and Anna to most people and in most lists are actually close to each other which says a lot since in DR Kaz was way above Anna and between 3rd and 5th best). You just have to play him like a robot all the time and use EWGF for pretty much everything.
