This is probably the Newsboys greatest albums in my opinion, it definitely didn't get enough credit cause when Tait joined, people just forgot about this album. Don't get me wrong though, I love Tait as much as Peter furler

@hollowcard65 Peter Fuhler was the lead singer that left the band. I felt so bad because I think the world of him. He left the band because he realized he needed to work on his marriage and personal life. They chose Michael Tait, and since then they've changed their sound but I agree they're still awesome!! :-)
@lattelisal I never heard that Peter "Furler" left for personal reasons...I figured it was to put out his solo stuff. Where did you hear that? It might make sense, as they were touring ALL the time...like ALL over the world. By the way, did you know his wife, Summer, is Mylon Lefevre's daughter? So, at least he has a preacher/former Christian rock artist for a father-in-law.

@rawrwithit you saw more than i did. there was one row between me and the roof. plus there were speakers dangling in the way, so we got to see michael run down that little strip at the start of jesus freak, but other than that, the show was sound only for us.

if you like Toby mac you should listen to DC Talk. that was his original band. It consisted of Toby Mac, Micheal Tait (singer in this vid), and Kevin Max (who btw is amazing, but hasnt been in a band since DC Talk)
@ klankcybangy I agree with you about Peter vs. Michael, but I personally think that Jody Davis made an awesome replacement for Paul on guitars. Nothing against Paul but Jody's guitaring has a better sound to it.
Does anyone even know where the new singer even came from? It was shocking to see that Michael tait (originally from dc talk) was the new frontman for the newsboys, but I have a lot of respect for michael tait because he contributed a lot in getting christian rock on the map. Also, on I tunes, there is a radio and under religious there are dozens of Christian radio stations of all types of styles. You don't even need an account, it's really awesome
