  • wonderful tip =D eat with art :) I totally agree, if it looks beautiful, it not only makes it easier to try, but it does imho enhance the experience in many ways. Thanks for the tip!

  • @monteros you're so welcome. thanks for watchin!

  • Great Video! I just got a couple of this exact kinda at Publix and wasn't sure when I can cut them open yet. I know the Hachia (sp?) have to be squishy and feel like a water balloon but what are these suppose to feel like when they are ready to cut?

  • @guestaccount26 these can be crunchy and firm as long as there is no more yellow/green. eat them orange or slightly softer when they start to darken. test em out.

  • just tried one and it made my mouth feel hairy and numb.

  • @liliacfestival23 they are not ripe, then. must be very very very mushy if its the hachiya variety and the fuyu ones need to be bright orange and a little crunch is ok, better if slightly softer.

  • i had my first crunchy persimmon several mkts ago. the vendor next and i did a swap. i enjoyed the crunch. i was raised with the soft sweet ones ripe on the trees after a frost. another informative vid. waves to the west~~~

  • @crosspecans waves to texas, sista! mmm persimmon goodness!!!
