Very much an overrated song in my view - Lennon did much better (How Do You Sleep/Number Nine Dream/Mind Games for instance). That said this is a very good version. Ms Salonga is superb.

how i wish Ms. Salonga recorded this song. In fact, i never like this song until Lea Salonga sang it on her concert. it was by then i understand the meaning of the song. that is the 'magic' of Ms. Salonga because she can deliver effortlessly the emotion of the song she is singing. she is very expressive. i was teary-eyed while i was listening and watching this version on TV when it was featured by ABS-CBN. I also like the version of Marielle (Lilet) of this song. Check her album out.

It started off a little slow for me...dare I say very karaoke. A little swinging of the arms didn't help. However, from the 3rd verse on I felt that she pulled it out...she was projecting emotion and I was drawn in.
