u just need to mess with different effects then use a mask to show it where u want it to appear - experiment is best way to learn

What video format is best to be used in both After Effect, and Premier? .mov, .mpg, .mp4...etc...i am just shooting with a HD Sony cam and it makes .mts files...

Created adjustment layer and added 'turbulant displacement' - This was masked and heavily feathered. Hope that helps?
