Are you kidding me? :/ It's hard enough to actually become a bartender in this city since most of them have been doing it for 8+ years and are pretty much permenant. And damn good. Are they seriously proposing to retrain people who have been bartending for a decade? What, have they been doing it wrong this whole time? DX
The first rebellion that George Washington suppressed post the Revolutionary War was the whiskey rebellion. Seems the Scottish distillers didn't want to pay their taxes. A number of them then moved to Kentucky bourbon was born. Whiskey and alcohol business companies have been regulated and taxed since our nation was founded.
I was outraged sitting here in NH! Personally, I do feel the need to sit through some of these boring meetings but don't care to sit in silence. Guess I'm past the point of caring that I might be a "target". As you would say "GOOD HUNTING"!

Wow, you nailed it, Tarrin.
I too am surprised that more people aren't outraged. This is pretty frightening...

Why not just enforce the laws in existence???

that wouldn't allow the power-hungry petty dictators to insert themselves into the hiring practices of the small business owners.

I have a relative that is a bartender. Police in Duluth, Georgia purposely stake out bars, and it ruins them and then they shut down.
They just want money!!!!!

Good to know that someone is doing for my state of Georgia what Dave Ridley is doing for New Hampshire.
Great reporting!
