Firstly this should be a staged fight as Lion doesn't seem to be an Asiatic lion at all. It is more looking like a full grown African lion, looking at it's mane size and color. Tiger is ofcourse a Bengal Tiger although not full grown for sure as a full grown tiger rarely moves with other tiger even it's brother. Full grown male tiger would have been longer then lion as they can cover up almost 9 meters in a single jump will running.

@robert192ify There were a total of 3 lions and 3 tigers in the pit (2 males and a female of both). One of the tigers, a male, we see running. But, the tiger we actually see fighting was the female, and throughout there time in the pit, she ended up fighting with all 3 lions, which was recorded and mashed together. But, she ended up exhausted on the ground after every fight. It is highly likely the lions picked a fight with her, and not the other way around.

Firstly this should be a staged fight as Lion doesn't seem to be an Asiatic lion at all. It is more looking like a full grown African lion, looking at it's mane size and color. Tiger is ofcourse a Bengal Tiger although not full grown for sure as a full grown tiger rarely moves with other tiger even it's brother. Full grown male tiger would have been longer then lion as they can cover up almost 9 meters in a single jump will running.

It's said to be slower than a tiger's swipe but it has more damage and power. I use to think tigers would beat a lion most of the time. but from what I've seen the lion has more wins. The tiger killed people, it was the villian and had to die. So clearly the film was made such that the tiger must die. Lions are slower, lighter, weaker, and even the tiger is not the biggest of all, it still beat the lion. I can't see how and when the lion inflicted any damage, and that is why so many people don't believe it.

@robert192ify There were a total of 3 lions and 3 tigers in the pit (2 males and a female of both). One of the tigers, a male, we see running. But, the tiger we actually see fighting was the female, and throughout there time in the pit, she ended up fighting with all 3 lions, which was recorded and mashed together. But, she ended up exhausted on the ground after every fight. It is highly likely the lions picked a fight with her, and not the other way around.

This lion vs Tiger fight documentary I have seen in 1963 and its true. There were many film makers in the group and not all are shown here. At that time people were wearing the dress as shown. Our costumes changed after 1970 or so due to education and development. The British are protected by Indian Sepoys as can be seen. These pictures are many in archieves.

There was actually several fights between 3 different lions and tigers, and in all the fights, the tigers were left exhausted, possibly even dying. I have a vid that proves this. There were 2 male lions and a lioness, and 2 male tigers, and a tigress in the pits and involved in the fights.
