4 tracks on top deck, bouncing yes, additional tracks available by doing sub mixes to lower deck then using sub mix in upper deck and adding more tracks ...
@twoshedtunes I recently acquired a Clarion xd5 from a buddy of mine, and am getting back in to recording again. I'm a believer that EVERYONE should start out on magnetic tape. Kid's do everything through their computer now. That's cool but I think if you cant scrub tape & bounce track's, you cant really record Just figuring out where that hum is coming from is an art in and of it's self.
By the way what were you monitoring through?
Thanks for posting this. I found it very inspirational.
@DrPhranquenstein - Hi and thanks for the comment - I monitored the recordings through a pair of minimus-sized Staub 2 ways and overdubbed using a pair of Sennheiser headphones (which I still have, but the foam earpieces have crumbled after all these years!)
I think thats the first time ive seen a tb been used as a bass synth like it was suposed to:) Its funny that the equipment you had there probably was some of the cheapest ever at that time, is now very expensive. No lo budget composers can aford these today! hehe Intresting music btw:) Now im gonna watch vid nr 3 also! hehe Check out how i jam in my studio, my equipment is like from 84-88:)
