Roger Cichy wrote this for the Ohio State University Concert Band to play in Carnegie Hall in 1985. I haven't heard this arrangement since I was in that group. It was great to hear again.

One of the things that makes TBDBITL so UNIQUE is that it is ALL BRASS....woodwinds need not apply! Unique and the Largest All Brass in the World. Precision like the best Swiss Watch on the Market. I liked this version of Carmen Ohio, but I'll keep OUR version of "Fight The Team" any day! Go Bucks!

Strictly speaking TBDBITL is the "largest all brass and percussion" band in the world. I love it, too, but this arrangement (by a former TBDBITL member) and conducted by TBDBITL Director Jon Woods, has some nice, different, touches. There is plenty to be said for both versions, and room for them, too.

I did a search for LSU Honors Band....weird...just a few guys blown' jugs, a guy pluckin a bango, VictoryForLSU's mom workin the washboard and some guy in bibs playin spoons..Go Bucks!

You'll certainly hear talk about the LSU wind ensemble before you hear ANYTHING about the ohio state wind ensemble. I assure you that they will outplay the ohio state group, and then add jugs, banjos, and guitars for coloring of tone, lol. And will play the jugs much better in tune than the 3 piccolo players you have on campus, lol
