The pacific has great action, drama, and great information about each battle as told from the veterans who were there. It also makes you think about what you would do to survive or what emotions you would feel if you were in there shoes (at least that's how I thought). Overall, it is a great series and I really learned a lot about the marines who fought in the pacific just from watching this series.

The Industrial capacity of Germany was twice that of France, so the French needed British aid sure as hell. But without the French army as a continental barrier, the British would have no time to send troops over the channel and dig in, as the Germans would have overrun France by then. And even if they did manage to establish a line,It wouldnt be enough
