This is exactly the same as RE Degeneration. The controls are exactly the same. Nothing different there. They shoudl atleast updated the joystick it moves so slow and takes a while to get a good aim.

Why bother with this? Why dont they try and port Resident Evil 5 for the Wii instead? I heard its possible if they use the Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition engine. Only the graphics would suffer but to have Wii controls would be awesome and it's not like there are tons of enemies on screen like Dead Rising.

Sure , this game ( Re4 iphone ) is really a waste of time and money for Capcom , moreover I guess if one day Resident Evil 5 for Wii would be created I'm pretty sure the sells would be very good but after all the Resident Evil 5 on 360 is not so good , I personaly prefer the fourth on Wii

Resident evil 4 should have been atleast over 100MB. This game is gonna turn out crap. Capcom just want to make money over these games.

Just a put few levels in from the original Resident Evil 4 on the consoles and then release on the iphone quite cheaply.

the full game is about 4.3GB not MB. 37.3MB for a reason is a major editting in the coding script. Look at the fps, it looks way below 30. And halo runs on 30fps. hardly any enemies. choppy graphics. but my biggest complain is that all the youtube people playing the re4 iphone version are noobs. Yes, i know its had to knife/melee combo but you can still head shot/melee combo.

you've only seen 2:33 minutes of gameplay, so you can't conclude that, and this piece of gameplay is the same as in the original. And in the original, there were little arena's, it had to load everytime you enter another one, and you can't backtrack like in the other resident evil's.

And since when was graphics an important factor? No, the graphics look surprisingly good for a 'mobile phone'. It matters about whether the playability will hold up and whether it compares to the console version.

The PS2 version looks and plays a lot better than this, you can see this version has been considerably downgraded featuring simpler environments and less detailed enemy models and animations with even lower AI.

This is somewhat inferior to what it could be like on PSP, and to make things worse, this looks like a pain to play.
