Ive been searching for a nice aug, and the CA is not only cheaper than th tm, but it also has much better reviews and accomadates my style of shoot first ask questions later.
you cant ask someone if it's a good gun or not. you have to go to an airsoft shop somewhere and hold one yourself. buy a gun that you like and that you feel is comfortable. otherwise you'll never be good with it. as far as the specs go... its great. rof is extremely high and pours the bbs out like water. fps is great standard and accuracy is portrayed pinpoint to that of a real steyr aug. phenomenal gun. but as i said,, it's all what you like and what you are comfortable with.

just so everyone knows...cocking the gun reveals the hop-up chamber.cocking back too fast or too hard will break the hop-up.if you want realism,buy the G&P AUG metal hopup unit at airsoft extreme.
i dont even mess with mine unless im in mid battle and held up in a bunker. but the cocking hammer's grip is plastic but the plastic is set on all metal parts. the entire front reciever is metal. ca doesnt fool around.
Hey ya I was just using an 8.4V 600 mah battery. You can use a 9.6V to make the gun shoot faster but you should probably upgrade the mechbox to handle it.
@CDSeries i don't think you need to, the gun is said to have steel gears, a metal spring guide, metal bushings etc... the A1 version of this gun by CA was given the "top gun" award by airsoft international magazine so this gun is really good.

well for your info 1919Phantom19, the first three shots are not shots, it take a few shots to load the bb's, for about the sound, to make it sound "better" you need to upgrade the internals of the mechbox and possibly a silencer end with sound enhancement. As for my hair, I could care less what you think.
Any problems with it? Plz tell me a bit about it :)

Military comes with a scope , and i think its OD green, and this one is black

the a1 comes with a scope, and it wasnt interchangeable. people started complaining about it so the a2 came without a scope
