stand closer to the ball, a little tip that helps is putting your elbows on the front of your hips and just dropping your arms from there, this will make you bend over from the hips a little more and make your swing less flat. you also take the club away way outside, go to the range set up to the ball then place another ball behind the club, push the second ball straight back with the club, this should get you a little more inside, also work on maintaining your spine angle throughout your swing
so. imagine someone is holding a golf club or stick parallel to your feet, just in front of your hands, or better actually have someone do that. then with your swing you will hit the club or stick, so by learning to now hit the club you will make better contact, and im gonna say you miss to the right the most? just try that and it will help
first off youre reaching for the ball....second off you're taking the club way too far outside.....try to keep that right arm tucked in the whole time and take the club away inside and actually swing threw the ball at impact
hi ya well the right angle as a clicker on it and helps you to get in to the right positions in the golf swing from take away to impact it will help in every way even to straighton your arms at impact dont waste any more time mate ive just shot 74 off white tees at my local course par 71 all the best
you're hitting it like a tennis shot instead of creating a golf swing. I'd work on breaking your wrists at the top of your swing which will help create more power when you release through the ball with your hips and arms/wrists. try to swing more upright. its better to hit shots high and right than low and hooked
you dont need to think to much about your golf swing just a little tinkering my guess is you find it hard to take a correct divot the right angel will click on take away first at the half way point you will find that it will stop you from whipping club to the inside this its self will give you more width and then watch the power come back in to your swing with in a few days you will be ripping your driver 270+ all the best ps this right angel will cost you about £38 best money ever spent
hi ya your swing looks like mine did 3 months ago i had lost 50 yards distance with my driver i did 2 things first i brought swing aid called the right angel by rick smith this is the only thing that shortened my back swing then i put a club against my shoulders with a ball as if i was set up to hit it then found my shoulders were to level on my back turn what you should feel is your shoulders should point more down towards the ball yours are to level do u find it hard to take a divot with irons
Hey, I may try out the right angle - I have tried for years to shorten my backswing, but the only thing that feels natural is as per the video.... I hate trying to change my swing during the season, put the clubs are put away until spring... did you find your left arm was bent at impact - another thing I wish I could get rid of.... later
@skier777 hi ya when i first got my right angle i was on a 18 handicap we dont get cut off the winter tees where i play and i won 12 of 16 comps in the winter i play at hilltop (westbromwich) soon as we played off the normal tees without even playing a round they cut me to 12.6 ive been told they carnt do that but they did i havent won to many comps in recent months but still lead the player of the season to this date and most of this is down to the right angle try it paid £33 well worth it
ain't that bad a swing... good tempo powerful looking too. However its a flat swing .. Don't drag it back on the inside - turn the shoulders then lift the club, keep your right elbow from flying up too far away from the right hip, then smack it like your doing
oh ya ps. if ur left with a fade after ur just doing the complete opposite of what u were doing but a fade is easier to control than a hook...by plenty
pay close attention to ur left knee its being pushed out try using simple drills like placing a soccerball between ur knees, everytime the ball drops or moves ur knee clearly moves im quite sure u have no idea how to undo that hook drawing a line with chalk or a sharpie on a mat at the driving range and making sure that ur club drags at least the first 18 inches of ur swing is also a good start..but umm hey don't quit work at it
ur swing isnt as bad as some of the other ones on here....just take a lesson, theres no way u will improve by reading these tips, u need someone to show u... theres just tooooo much work
Your right knee straighted out considerably on backswing so that your right leg was almost straight. Club is way way way past parallel at the top. I see the clubhead actually about your waist high at the top of yoru backswing. This is all because you straightened out your right knee. When you do that your spine angle becomes more erect and your club goes behind your back instead of over your shoulder. First work on keeping flex on the right knee.
Get a lesson from a local head pro at a private club. The best 40 or 50 bucks you will ever spend in golf, I promise.
I am SHOCKED no one has said keep your left arm straight or keep your head down. That's almost required for a swing analysis video on YouTube, apparently.
very flat-you need a more upright plane the way i teach people with your swing type is as you are swinging on the way back try and swing around your neck with your posture more bent over -what you will find is your plane will become more upright and hands will reach head height instead of being trapped shoulder height dont let your hands get behind your right foot is another way dont swing around swing up try for 2 weeks you will be amazed -good luck.

You need to cock your wrists on the backswing

You are lifting the clubhead off the ground. Feel your hands come deep to the inside on the takeaway.

You are reaching with your arms. Just drop them, and let them hang free from your shoulders.
