My problem is, I'm a pretty good chopper pilot, and get good streaks in it.

In the jet though, I can stay in it the entire game with out getting shot down, but I can't get any kills what so ever! Any tips?

hey great vid man. BF3 is all about the tactics and strategy. It sux when ur team doesn't realize that. About the tactical lights. I hate them, but I like how they try to include stuff like that. I usually just aim closely to the center of the light and it does the trick.  The main thing for me is noticing what it is. Most times you'll see a light and not no its the enemy and get disoriented, but thats the point afterall. :) Im watching all ur vids.

The stuff he mentions doesnt work very well on the PC version. This is great for those unfortunate enough to be forced to play on PS3 or Xbox. Get a good computer and play the game the way it was intended. 32v32

Until you unlock missiles...jets are pretty use less...to help you through the tough machine gun stages...spot anything you can.

You do not earn points for just getting into the jet every match. I wish it were that easy. No, you have to get kills and assists. Thats hard to do when your team is relatively useless :(

@sasbenjr You definitely did. I've been trying for three straight hours. THREE STRAIGHT HOURS. I got 22 points. Some @#%$#@^@ parked his helicopter in the runway, and I crashed into it, not before getting a few shots on him, thus getting me an assist for his suicide. Three hours of being that guy who waits for the jet, three hours of getting shot down in less than 20 seconds every single time, and having teammates who can't kill your targets.

It sucks being stuck with noobs :'-(

Jets = useless teammates. I've not seen a jet be useful in this game yet.

All you were doing was flying around trying to shoot other jets/helis that people on the ground with stingers could do.

Ohh well the more of the enemy that is in choppers/jets the easier it is to take the objectives.

if you are a qantas pilot i guess you have a lot of time on your hands right now. :) i flew sailplanes for a number of years, oh the dogfights that happened in those things... no high energy turns but very strategic and graceful fun nonetheless. im currently in process of buying a new high end comp for my sons to play this, ok sooo i might have a bash as well, i use to like tbe desert cobat mod. still good vid and advice for budding joystick jockies. :)

If you have any piloting experience in Hawx or Ace Combat like me it defiantly helps in this game. I think however the stingers are a tad bit overpowerd because they are the first unlock and should be a latter unlock and I feel that the aircraft are a little underpowerd.

@Tebixo Because the controls are more controlling if that makes sense. The engine in BC2 limited the control of the Heli.

One other thing, how do you know when to use flares? because in a helicopter i do have flares, and as i hear a beeping noise i use flares, but then i get hit?

@jarrod6935 A few tips are to get pretty close and unload. Burst fire at distances and when they try to swerve away from you use the exterior view and use the break turn that he talked about.

Remember that there is a lot of bullet drop on airplanes because of the distance.

What's the best/ most precise time to release the flares? I've been doing it at the solid low pitched beep but I guess that's too early. When I release it at the next high pitched rapid beeps, it seems to be too late.
