  • @Mackey45678 WOOOO! Rick Flare is the greatest of all time WOOOO

  • Ric Flair looks like he might have been a halfway decent wrestler, 30 years ago.

  • @Fry420x might have????? in the 80s and laye 70s no one was better...70s and 80s flair was better then wrestlers now...thats y hes called the best of all time...wooooooooooo...

  • I remember this promo for sure when WCW and the NWA were in hits heydays and in full swing! These definitely were the days and we'll never see anything like them again!

  • WOOOO Flair greatest of all time

  • It's the best going EVER.

  • Saying Ric Flair gave a bad promo is like saying Freddie Mercury gave a bad performance. Sorry folks, these men were the utmost professionals. It never happened. The best of the best for plenty of reasons.

  • The dirtiest playa in the GAME!! WOOOOOOOO!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • He has so many of the greatest promos he's INSANE!

  • That is true! Ric Flair was was THE BEST Professional Wrestler EVER!!!!

  • @Bilytkid No question Flair was a great showman but Harley Race was the toughest NWA world champion ever!

  • 0:47 whether you like it or don't like it.. sit down and look at it.. because its tha best... going today.. WOOOOOOOOO.. Lol.. it doesnt get any better than Ric Flair.

  • ric still got it

  • his theme music is the best...

  • Hogan is a farce !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shawn Michaels cannot hold a mic to Ric.... He's good but just not that good. If you recall he idols Ric, therefore, he cannot be like Flair. Whoooooooo!

  • I'm the greatest ever, but Ric Flair was kinda cool.

  • 7 people don't think Cindy Margolis can handle riding Space Mountain with The Naitch..... BULLSHIT!!! Ric Flair is MORE THAN MAN ENOUGH to handle Cindy Margolis, but is she more than woman enough to handle a former 16-time World Heavyweight Wresling Champion??? We all wanna find out......

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

  • errm.. this is 2 promos. hes wearing a different suit at the end than he was at the beginning. thus it cannot be the greatest promo he ever made.

  • Better mic workers than Hogan: Flair, Anderson, Tully Blanchard, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Austin, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, Nikita Koloff, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, HHH, Sting, Vince McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter, Ricky Steamboat. There's many more, but that's just right off the top of my head, and Flair is the best.

  • @DocLeggz + jake the snake probs the best to ever hold a mic

  • @keepinthe80salive Maybe not the best ever, but one of the greats for sure. Don't know how I forgot the Snake. Thanks for catching me on that one!

  • @DocLeggz I disagree strongly.

  • @DocLeggz Steamboat was an excellent wrestler but his stick skills were average at best. He was pre 85 babyface and that's what he sounded like.

  • @yardlet6 See, I found his mic skills, especially his later promos when he was feuding over the championship with Flair, to be excellent, and at the very least better than Hogan's, who in my opinion basically cut the same promo every time. Though, Steamboat was definitely not one of the best ever.

  • I like Jim Cornette's mic skills,he use to crack me up all the time even if you did hate him.

One of my favorite Cornette quotes.."If I tell you that the sun isn't going to shine tomorrow, you better go outside with a flash light!"

"I've been beat up by an old man and I've even been beat up by a woman but I'll be damned if I'm going to get beat up by a pipsqueak like you!"

  • Excellent video by the way

  • Piper had best mic skills

  • @detchuck. Look at Hogan's promo before his WM6 match versus the Warrior.

  • we'll sweat, we'll bleed and we'll pay the price!

  • @detchuck Ok but dn't say tht Hulk hogan isn't great on the mic. Hulk/Hollywood is top 5 for sure, right alone wit Ric.

  • @SydneyRico69 Not on the mic...........Piper Rock Jake The Snake Flair Jericho. Its easy to talk when the fans love you but if you can talk and make the fans hate you, thats talent. Hogan was ok as Hollywood on the mic but he wasnt an all time great with his mic skills. It was his gimmick that he played perfectly and really bought into that makes him a legend

  • @GLazz85 Don't forget Double A Arn Anderson he also had great mic skills...

  • @FireitupBedford

I believe you mean ol bucket head arn anderson.

  • @FireitupBedford Oh I left a ton out I was just thinking of 5 better than Hogan off the top of my head

  • @GLazz85 Its easy to make fans hate you. just curse at them, call them trash, and they will hate you. thats not talent

  • @rjone15 You have to be believable. Sgt Slaughter got death threats Piper started riots, Rock got venom when he went to Canada...........it takes talent to keep that kind of heat

  • @rjone15 Not really. There were a lot of villians that tired to be hateful, but never stood the test of time. For example, one of the least memorable villians was Nailz.

  • WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • LOL

    I think I made a MP3 of this a longtime ago.

  • Great clip...but it's not even Top 3. Golden Spoon will always be the best Flair promo. The one where he kills Buddy Landell and JJ Dillon is #2 (it's called Ric Flair Flossy on YT). And the one he did setting up the I Quit Match against Terry Funk was great too...he was just as intense as a face.

  • ric you usto be great but eer sceince oyu joined tna i lost every bit of respect i had for you same goes for hogan and the hardys

  • LOL

I remember when this was first aired and I made a video tape of it. I must have watched it a thousand times and had every word memorized. Ric Flair... he was amazing in his day.

  • No promo. Golden Spoon is thee promo.

  • jesus allah buddah and all the other false prophets need to bow down to the man, woooooooo, ric flair

  • omg i have looked for this forever my brother taped over this . I was sick this is the best of aalllll time whooooooo

  • You can see alot Shawn Michaels in Ric Flairs talking. HBK sure did try to image himself after the Nature boy

  • Ric Flair was a GREAT showman but Harley Race overall was the greatest NWA world champion ever.

  • The GREATEST EVER

  • The only two people who could rival Flair on a promo were Roddy Piper and The Rock. There have been some great promo-guys over the ages (Dusty Rhodes, Stone Cold, Road Warrior Hawk, Randy Savage, Mick Foley) but Flair was a completely distinct breed. Its too bad he has become bitter, greedy and has proven himself to have no moral character by joining TNA after spending several years bashing it. And its too bad he shat on the WWE after it gave him the wrestling industry's greatest farewell ever.

  • @nilan3000 He had two divorces back to back. Damn man,Flair has to eat and pay alimony.

  • @nilan3000 Two divorces and no financial discipline. Man's gotta eat.

  • That's not a promo at all. That's a montage. Everyone knows that Flair's best PROMO was when he accepted Undertaker's challenge to fight him at Wrestlemania X8.

  • @detchuck true that not even in his dreams because Ric was the MASTER OF THE MIC.

  • from the way he looked, to the way he dressed, to way he talked about living life, to the way he would give interviews with the world heavyweight championship on full display ric was the mold from wich all world champions should be cut from.

  • @detchuck except that isn't a promo. It's a montage.

  • @JoshRA Technically, it's a montage...but NWA used to play it almost twice a weekend during the 80s. I've been looking for this promo for 25 years and I finally found it. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @southpaw2k1 Yeah. They still play this during WWE's broadcast of NWA World Championship Wrestling (from 1987/1988). Actually, I think they stopped a few weeks back. But the episodes from 1987, they played this montage damn near each week. lol

  • "Whether you like or don't like it ....".

By far the greatest start to a quote ever!!

    WHOOOOOO!!!!

  • @libertyemil Can't disagree with you there...and his theme music playing in the background. They used to play it at least twice a weekend back in the day.

  • Man, NWA was UNBELIEVABLE stuff back in the 80's. Phenomenal!

  • @detchuck No but he could draw more money...BROTHER!

  • Bow down to Naitch!

  • not really a promo and definitely not his greatest, but nice video.

  • Ric Flair is FOREVER.

    The Greatest of ALL time.

  • man..i wish he never got old...the best of all time hands down...

  • flair greatest world heavyweight champion of all time wooooooooo

  • Where do you guys see this in wrestling anymore.. 0:31....

Flair.. is way more impressive than Hogan...

  • This is great, but the best Ric Flair promo was when he said "I like my women with a full sweater and an empty head" LOL

  • @mankind2112 I think that's the "rick flair gives ricky morton a bra" promo

  • The manliest man ever.

  • u know it,bmore is here wit my nanna(grandmoms,she luv'd rasslin)erry saturday,4:00 channel 45,trippin,me and my nanna...off rasslin!

  • @detchuck so true brotha

  • I Love It When Ric Flair Goes WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • WHAT's CAUSIN ALL THIS..WHOOOO!

  • "What's causing all this" ..one of the greatest quotes in the history of wrestling as well as one of the best of all time...WWHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  • @detchuck thats so true

  • @detchuck all i have to say is . .

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • classic

  • The ring looks so small compared to the WWE ring they use today

  • Nobody, not Austin, the Rock, Sting, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, HHH, and especially not Hogan, can hold a candle to The Nature Boy's mic skills. WHOOOOO!

  • @DocLeggz The Rock could.

  • @NorthViewFederation While the Rock may be the best in the recent era on the mic, he's still no Flair. I also don't think he would be able to hold his own against Dusty Rhodes or Roddy Piper on the mic. He's in the top 10 of all time for sure, but Flair is undisputably number one.

  • @DocLeggz Wouldn't say "undisputably" - it's pretty subjective, seeing as promo work is effectively an art form. I personally think Rhodes, Piper, The Rock, Jake Roberts and Jim Cornette are better promo guys. No slight on Flair, I just wouldn't put him above those guys.

  • @EvenflowBlack I still think Flair is much better than any of them, but everyone you mentioned is pretty great. But, you did forget one person: Bobby Heenan.

  • @DocLeggz Oh yeah, Heenan was awesome, but then so was Michael Hayes, Jerry Lawler, Tully Blanchard, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels - can't remember them all, mate! ;)

  • @EvenflowBlack Gary Hart was great, the Macho Man was pretty good, and Arn Anderson was also great, as were Ivan and later Nikita Koloff and Baron Von Raschke. But you know someone who got pushed like crazy and couldn't cut a promo for jack: Ultimate Warrior. That guy was just nutty and made no sense.

  • @DocLeggz Yeah, but despite being awful, the Warrior just had something about him that made everyone mark for him, a bit like Goldberg. Nobody could understand what the fuck he was saying, but they all wanted to be his "Wah-yaaahs". It was probably the fact that he was coked up to the eyeballs.

  • @EvenflowBlack Don't forget Raven.

  • @LostSpartan16 See man, I have to say I'm someone who was never big on Raven. Sure, his promos were full of clever stuff, like Jake Roberts' promos, but I didn't like his delivery - they always sounded to me like someone trying to be clever, instead of actually being clever. His character was brilliant, though, and it's a shame he never did better.

  • @EvenflowBlack That's cool bro,but i'm a huge fan of Raven.

  • @DocLeggz Watch some of flair's 80's promos. The rock pretty much got his style from flair and stole a lot of his mannerisms.

  • @endofsuffering83 Oh, yeah, it's impossible not to notice that. I still think, and will always think, that the best on the mic of all time is Naitch, so the Rock couldn't have picked a better one to emulate.

  • the best ever...the best ever hands down WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • he did one in 94 or early 95 where he had a cardboard cut out of hogan it was in wcw and flair had lost a retirement match to hogan and he wanted back in the wcw it was by far his best ever promo wish i could find it wooooooooooooooo

  • Flair is still the man

  • To be the man you have to beat the man.

  • ...and ONLY The Nature Boy Himself, Ric Flair can INDEED, be that man. WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • @khiemvu88 and he lost to the man,

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, I have a very special message to Cindy Margolis, you want a MAN?

Don't waste your time with those half-baked wannabes on "Seducing Cindy" on the soon-to-be-defunct (on March 31) Fox Reality Channel, instead just watch God as a wrestler (sorry Mickey Rourke), The Nature Boy Himself, and 16-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, RIC FLAIR!!!

    WHOOOOOOOOOO"!!!!

  • @AK47Music LOL, much like Baby Doll, I think sexy Cindy would be goin' "Nature Boy, you are too much man for me" after just a couple of nights. WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    Ric is *THE MAN*

  • I remember this promo. I remember seeing a similar promo for Dusty Rhodes. Has anyone seen it on Youtube?

  • who's causing all of this...Wooo!

  • Sit down and keep your mouth shut....Ric Flair is the best thing going today.

  • @rjasin123 The best thing going EVER! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Whether you like it or not , its the best thing going today .... Whooooooooo!

  • I finally had the pleausre of seeing Ric Flair wrestle live last month. Another ambition fulfilled, although I was dissappointed that he had to throw his match to Hogan. He will always be the king of interviews in my opinion and always did it for the sport. Long live the Naitch!

  • The best going ANY day. Wooo!

  • I always thought Hogan was underrated by the smart fans when it came to his mic work and his wrestling. i think he did better stuff in japan. hogans calling card was his ability to bring new eyes to the sport. To me thats very important. The same as Flairs ability to hold those eyes on the sport with his promos and psychology in the ring. But Hogan should get more respect than he does. To me Flair was always great on the Mic but Dusty was the man on the stick if you wheel :)

  • All I can say ....is...

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    Love Ric Flair.

  • who's causing all of this....the real champ that who! WOOOO!

  • hulk hogan = ric flair = sting.. god of wrestling... we cant compare all of them.. they have advantages and unadvantages... i like all of them.. they made my childhood day full of happiness, especially Nwo vs wcw.. every week is like a surprise for me..

  • Fuck Hogan, HHH, Angle... Nobody can touch Ric Flair! I remember these promos when JCP was just turning into Turner! I'm from LA and I was always a fan to the old NWA/WCW days. They were the best - Fuck the rest!

  • @fvr323 but Shawn Michaels took preformance to another level in the 90's and beyond so u got to give it to him as the best ever.

  • @diontet22 its a tie flair has better mic skills but that does not determine greatness shawn had a diverse set of moves and held every major championship flair technically 18 time champ and bret was the best technical wrestler and his grapple/submission moves r flawless macho man was not as good on mic but i been sayin this flair hbk savage and bret hart r tied 4 the best its jus true i did research trust me

  • @fvr323 is there an awesome button for this comment?

  • WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • Ric Flair's greatness is one of a kind.
