Hopefully with the new team and new owner things will be different. I would like to see the excitement that was there the first year or two again. That will be hard fetched after the last 7 years of the Lynx, but not necessarily out of reach. I would like to see an average of 3500+ for the year, maybe even 4500 for the first game. But they will have to advertise and reach out to the community and surrounding areas.
if the team and owners spent money to actually reach out to the community and reach a broader audience, then maybe they would still be around. but instead, they hired skanky ass cheerlleaders who did nothin but ruin the games for the fans by always gettin in the way and nto even knowin a damn thing about hockey.
One day I will write a book of what went wrong behind the scenes, seems to me youto have a pretty good understanding already. Lots of people in the organization fought really hard to do the right thing, but we were cut off at everyturn. You should see the various kids clubs, community event, kids tickets, business proposals that were turned down for basically cheerleader uniforms. It was frustrating that's for sure.
