Who's wrong, the company that fully explains the product on the box? Or the consumer who doesn't read the box and sticks the stuff in her eye? Bingo! Sorry honey but you are one stupid idiot for sticking anything in your body without reading the packaging. The peroxide based solutions work superbly. Your ravings, Ms Milano, are the ravings of an insane, incompetent human being. How'd you get this far in life anyway? What else do you stick in your body without any concern for consequences?
Those liquids are for you to sterilize the contacts so you don't get an infection and end up BLIND! and if you use porperly ao sept you will see the diference btween the two of themIstead of doing these videos try to spend more time reading the instructions!
before you buy a product that you're gonna use on your body like a medicine or a fucking liquid for your contacts you need to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS dumass! if you had my eye problem you wouldn't be so irresponsable to put a random liquid in your eye! That renu isnt for you to put in your eye either, you have eye drops for that!
The directions on the box clearly state to wait and not apply directly to eye..its made for people who have protein buildup issues..clear care works better than ao sept. Regular saline does not disinfect and remove protein
: I'm sorry but... duh! don't blame the product BLAME YOURSELF! peroxide is not a multipurpose solution PEROXIDE WILL BURN THE PROTEINS IN YOUR LENS AND ALSO YOUR EYES! so after six hours soaking your lens in a peroxide solution rinse and soak it again to a saline or multi-purpose solution.
FYI: Saline can't disinfect your lens..it's only used for rinsing and storage your lens :D
@rsvalmoria As I said... I was in a car with dry eyes and was looking for something to flush them with. I wasn't looking for an overnight solution... and I didn't even know they existed... never head of them or saw one ad about them... Traditionally, I buy a solution and have no problems just taking out a contact... rinsing it and putting it back in... that is what I thought I bought... but the packaging was unclear and the price was less than what I usually bought so I tried it.

I rested my eye for 48 hours but I wore contacts after that. I just kept my eyes closed for 30 min periods of time to rest them. I don't use any solution that I can't use anytime now. Sometimes, you just want to rise your contacts out and then put them back in... can't do that with solutions that require a waiting time. I give them a deep cleaning now once a week with OPI Replenish ... sorry you had to experience this!
this happened to me this morning.. the doctor blamed me for not reading the directions well. the bottle said if desired, rinse w/ saline solution,. the packaging said rinse with saline solution before use. this crazy thing BURN. everybody thought i'm crazy for putting disinfecting solution into my eyes, but i was following my friend;s recommendation, she use it fine :( btw how did you cope with your eye situation afterwards? the doctor told me to rest my eye and no contacts for at least a week.
It will work fine if you know how to use it. I recommend that you use opti free. After the 6 hours wash it with opti free 2 times or 3 and then put it in your eyes you will not feel any burn.
Put the contacts in that thing and put AO sept solusion and wait until the bubbles stop. When the bubble stop it means that it have been neutralized. Take the contacts out and dont put it into your eyes yet. Before putting it to your eyes wash it 2 times with multipurpose solution like opti free express and renu and i swear when you putting it to your eyes it will not burn. I wash often before i putting it because AO sept have peroxide.
I have AO sept i love it and i use it only once a week for deep clean, and it gets so clean. Putting this directly to the eye it will burn as hell. When i bougth AO sept i read the instructions that you get in the package. I knew that it will burn the eyes for the first time so i never burned my eyes with AO sept. have some tips on what you can do.
PS: ReNu with MoisterLoc contact lens solution was called off shelves because that solution was causing eye infections that could result in temporary blindness? YES!!! Also Individuals with eye infection were more than 20 times more likely to have used Bausch & Lomb's ReNu With MoistureLoc contact lens solution than other lens care products.
Be careful... thoses 2 products are DANGEROUS their should be Prohibited!!!
the message in the video is pertient and wise: if Aosept plus is not a multipurpose solution but a desinfectant solution, then the presentation should not be that of a multipurpose solution. Take an equivalent example, assume that a brand new product is sold in a very similar presentation to that of a Coke bottle and that is sold in the same stand as the Coke bottles, but that the new product should not be drunk unless some instructions are followed. Suppose that a foreigner goes to the store
and gets the "new coke", what should we think the customer will do? Suppose that people on a hurry get the new product. Suppose that a drunk guy finds the product in a friend's fridge. There are uncountable contingencies that could be prevented from happening. Finally, people who were contact lens, cannot see well. Feeling the need to see, they will grab a bottle that looks exactly like a saline solution.
How about a better public message... READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! This is clearly not a solution like the renu. It's mostly peroxide. How do I know this? I did my research on this product?
Aosept plus characteristics is that this disinfecting solution is preservatives free.
I actually use this one because my eyes have a kind of allergy to the preservatives, so this product is my love
I think it is your fault because the instructions are very clear.
This "aosept" solution is hydrogen peroxide 3%. Obviously it will burn your eye.
This is not a "marketin product to kill your eye health" This is an alternative to the ones who can't use the other ones because of the preservatives. :)
I agree. I'm sorry this happened to you but AO sept is a disinfectant solution whereas Renu is a multipurpose solution designed to clean and maintain the osmolarity the contact. The hydrogen peroxide must be neutralized because it's a base. So if you put AO sept directly into your eyes it will be burn. I think you used it as a general contact cleaner and was unfortunately mistaken.
Renu is a Sh...... t this product is prohibited in so much Countries . AO the same thing.
For that is very important go into the forum and know really what to use. So much medical product are just marketing for earn money and kill our eye health :(
I am so sorry that happened to you for that i posted a video with the Opti free cleaner is more expensive but the best , is really good and you and your eyes will be very Grateful =D
Thanks LensAddicted... I'll definitely try that one... I've been reading reports about ReNu too... these people only care about getting our money... thanks!
Thanks for this video
