  • I can confirm viability and rigidity of magnetic joints. I used them with 4-link anti-rotation constraints on this inverted hexapod.

  • very impressive sir. what's that mutt doing at 2:28?

  • Hexagonal threaded spacer is 20mm long. Part of a smaller diameter is about

10mm length. Pressed into the aluminum tube. The inner diameter of the tube

larger than the M6 threaded spindle. Do not touch each other.

    Hi.

  • How did you make the linear actuators? Are they plastic tubes with nuts glued on the ends, or did you tap the entire tube?

  • What can you say about these magnet joints? Is friction high? Any vibration?

They are not used in the next project, though seem more suitable there, because here axial rotation should be avoided (by those wires)

  • Really nice! Did you test it as 6 DOF hexapod?

  • @PKM077 Thanks. Oh, yes! But the files must be recompiled: genhexkins.c and genhexkins.h. It still did not do it. Otherwise worked, but the real dimensions must be given.

    Greeting

  • @hg5bsd Just yesterday I finally found how to recompile genhexkins with the real dimensions )) That proved to be not hard, but all required packages should be installed. I'm working at similar project but large enough (cannot insert url here, that must be forbidden. I'l try to send it in a message to you)

Some parts are still being made, also new .ini and .hal files should be written.
