i honestly think the VSS and SVU are noob snipers.

mainly because most of the people i encounter using it uses the mouse to quick fire, and it ends up being used as a fully auto sniper, or pretty close to it.

80 % of the time I get frustrated in sdm games, they are full of campers, and especially on maps with lots of vegetation, my agressive tactics don't lead anywhere, because I always get shot in the back by someone who's acting like a bush...

I just can't sit on my ass like most players...

Nelson bay is way too frequent in this mode for me too.

Motion balls are probably the most useful things in sdm, however I still prefer rush or conquest.

@BeBarnee There are definitely a lot of campers in SDM - the trick is learning which parts of the map are "hot spots" and patrolling them for lots of kills. No amount of camping will out-kill someone actively looking for people, especially when with a squad.

SDM is fun when you have someone you know to play with. I usually don't so I stick with conquest and rush. But good video tho - thumbs up

I just got Plat on the VSS yesterday, I used magnum all the way. I wish I used body armour now! The placebo effect probably helped though

I'm on the fence with the SDM. Its interesting and then its not. Hit and miss i guess. I have to use the SVU and VSS sometime again. Only touched the VSS once or twice. What headset do you use Jaye. I've asked some other commentators to see and ask if they are worth the buy. Remember i'm a casual gamer, but enjoy a bit of competitiveness. Great vid though. can't wait for the failtage. Oh and thx again for the invite to those 2 awesome rounds. maybe one since i wasn't int he part half way through

@freakynixon I use a pair of turtle beach X11's - they are a basic wired headset for xbox and they cost 40-50$, they work great for the money. The more expensive ones have better sound quality but for basic sound-whoring the X11's work fine

Last night I was actually trying out the SVU and the VSS. Don't do too well with the SVU; always seem to take forever to kill someone with it. The VSS on the hand, I like using a lot. Thanks for the ammo upgrade suggestion, since that gun tears through ammo really fast. Keep up the awesome work jay.

@TheAlphawolfy thanks man! the SVU can be hit or miss, one thing you can do is put a red dot on it and it pretty much turns into a silenced M14 with WAY better sights

@LolImSoBr00tal It's all about the timing, different objects/throwing animations require you to jump at different times. This technique actually works for any thrown object in the game, including ammo boxes, medkits, grenades, and motion sensors.  Best way to get it is to just practice

I platted the VSS too! Majority of the kills was with the red dot and ACOG and now after platinum I started to use the standard scope which is BEAST!

you have platinum on vss? i could never do that, i cant handle that weapon, i prefer the g3 or thompson to go full auto with recon... when i play with the vss only with 4x or red dot.....

@Ihatemaxpigmentation yeah it requires a lot of finesse to use effectively, it's almost a weakness of the gun that you have to actively make yourself use it in a certain way to get the most out of it - as opposed to something like an LMG that you can just spray without thinking too much
