Excellent video - Kim looks great and Ben did a very good interview with Hilly, he's a good guy. Too bad about CBs - I saw the Ramones and the Dead Boys there, many times. At least we have some videos on YT from CBs prime back in the mid 70s.

Las Vegas and the West coast is waaay too plastic and fake for CBGB's. If CBGB's goes west. They will have pop band crap playing there and fall out boy.

Freaking hell, he is moving it to Las Vegas (from its status of a top-knotch landmark!) and going through the internet, too? Ok, bad news. Too bad, vacating New York City. Blondie, listen up and save the place. Las Vegas is the cheapest city I have ever been, and I am not talking about the buffet or hotel rooms. Cheap as in gross.

Aww Richard Hell. Those are some memories. I really cannot believe this old guy (he looks like a grumpy version of geriatric1927 from youtube) is going to let this historical place go. I really don't understand why those who started out there and became filthy rich don't save it. Own it themselves.

richard hell was only in television for a little while.. maybe you're thinking richard lloyd? he and tom verlaine were the shit.
anyway, probably one of the only surviving people who made a whole bunch of money after starting out there is debbie harry, and if you've seen her at blondie's hall of fame induction, you'd know she's a huge bitch.
