I respect Andy. I have had the privilege of watching him work in person, and he truly has a gift for creating characters that are unique and special even when the material is extremely challenging. I found him to be a delightful person, despite his reputation for sometimes being outrageous in public. He was polite and professional, used others' time respectfully and efficiently. Sometimes the things that make someone creative also make them very imperfect.
