  • Thanks for putting this playlist up, I always listen to it when I'm doing homwork

  • "Kyrie Eleison" IS NOT LATIN WORDS THOUGH..BUT ANCIENT GREEK !! Κύριε Ελέησον

  • lord show mercy..jesus show mercy..lord show mercy

    thats greek guys :P

  • I believe that a true musician (which i wish i am or i will ever be) can find magic in all forms of music, if you listen closely , every piece has sth to offer..but pieces like this one have more than sth , they make you travel beyond this world...god bless people like Mozart , their talent lingers..

  • If your requiem playlist ever gets taken down I'm going to kill myself.

  • very nice

  • We're singing this part for choir class and it so amazing singing it. Probably just as fun as listening to it :)

  • very fast love it

  • cooool thanks for uploading

  • They're are no words to describe. So beautiful. <3

  • Any idea why he choosed greek? :)

  • @MariaNNaBoBos he didn't "choose" Greek, the kyrie is a liturgical part of masses (a requiem is a mass devoted to the dead). It's a phrase dating back waaaay back to the ancient world . Mozart himself contributed no lyrics since all requiems have the same liturgical structure anyway. Which doesn't mean this particular requiem isn't one of the best pieces written by Mozart, which it definitely is :D

  • @GrafKarpador Wow, I`m so ignorant! Thanks :3

  • @MariaNNaBoBos Latin

  • @MariaNNaBoBos it wasn´t his choice.

all the church prays this in greek, in the mass

    he gave us new melody.

  • masterpiece!!

  • i never understood why ppl ask for info on music....its called GOOGLE!!!! gyahhhaaaaaaad..,....

  • My school orchestra and choir doubled up to play this requiem. This was probably my favorite to play, even though it was wicked hard on a flute. Doubly hard in a chapel where the choir could barely hear the orchestra...

  • god, singing this in choir, sooo many fast notes and pitches to be on in so little time, but beautiful nonetheless

  • i think the entire requiem was a scam. mozart whipped out hundreds of missae, theres no reason for him to take so long doing this, it was old hat for him. He could write a requiem mass with his hands tied behind his back. the whole thing seems really fishy. some of these are really good but most of this stuff was done by sussmayer. i dont care much for requiem anymore since his true body of work is much more interesting.

  • Su requiem sus obras todo el era genio , el Kyrie de Mozart es algo unico, incomparable mi alma se eleva , mi espiritu se alegra al oirlo.

    MOZART SIMPLEMENTE GENIAL.

  • I love Metal... and this xD One shouldn't be so closed-minded. Music is wonderful, especially Mozart.

...and Dresden rocks, I'm proud to live in Saxony^^

  • What means Kyrie eleison ? Something like "god's wrath" ? I can't remember ! Xx

  • @Kozuechan2894 Kyrie eleison means Lord, have mercy on us. Dies irae means Dau of Wrath or Judgment day, that comes right after this

  • @Kozuechan2894 Lord show mercy

  • @Kozuechan2894

Kyrie Eleison = Κύριε Ελέησον = Lord, have mercy.

  • @stefann93

No! Kill them with a wooden spoon with this in the back! That way it's slow, painful, but with lovely accompaniment.

  • EARGASM

  • There's an eye!

  • The eye on the hand looks quite Masonic---fitting, in a way, considering Mozart's own life.

  • very similar to the ancient Orthodox Byzantine chant, through harmonic lines, naturally flavored with Baroque decorations ...

  • In every peice of music produced by mozart the lyrics have something to do with "lord have mercy" Why?

  • @Frogling707

the music in question was probably liturgical. A prevailing Christian theme is that God must have mercy on sinful man.

  • Comment removed

  • @Frogling707 "Kyrie eleison" etc. is a standard part of the Ordinarium., and will appear in any choral Mass composed by anyone. It's nothing to do with Mozart in particular--and he composed a lot of secular music as well.

  • so good

  • for mi is fuge baroque the best music ever created in this whole world

the music fuge is strong its repeats for ever his motief and anwser are millioens

fugas of bach or beethoven so strong so hard and so beautifulll i cant stop listening

i need it for ever fuge here and there

around mi for ever responding and hold his motief for ever in his heart and never repeat it !

  • the kyrie tops it all, we will all have to ask for salvation.

  • @sastevens1

yes, we will have to ask Lord Krishna for salvation

  • I am so grateful that I can understand this music

Thank you hryzunik for all of the great songs

  • Masonic!!!!!

  • Masonic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the reqeuim hasnothing to do with masonry its a death mass

  • this is my most favorite thing i've ever heard

  • Masonic!

  • what exactly, might I ask, is masonic?

  • Mozart was a Free Mason and he composed the music that has a lot Masonic symbolism.

  • are you stupid!!!

Don't you know Kyrie Eleison means "Lord have mercy on me" in Greek?!!!

So ignorant, I never believed that such a person ike YOU exists in this world and still breathes air...

  • @heraavria Hey relax man.

  • Masonic or not. But Reqiuiem is great.

  • HEY guys...for you guys that more about mozart....i would really like to know the order of the requiem...which one is the first act or piece? is it dies irae? or maybe lacrimosa? if anyone knows please reply to me....plllllzzz

  • The first one is Introitus - Requiem aeternam, see playlist that I made

  • @hryzunik excuse me what means this symbols of the eye in hand, and why you use it in mozart music

  • @electronicado86 It is quite simple - I am fascinated with eyes, the eye belongs to Mozart and I try to create something mystical and unusual. It is not supposed to refer to freemasons or anything like that.

  • @hryzunik what ever way you look it it .. you are using satanic symbolism.. not very clever :( a big thumbs down from me sorry.

  • @electronicado86 most people have eyes and hands, thats why they are good symbols. hands represent everything that can be done with the hands. hands can represent "do-ing" stuff. you and i do stuff every day we are alive. the eye has importance because you use it to judge this video and these here words. the lyrics are a bunch about judgement, right from wrong. you're judging, i'm judging, god's judging. im just glad the song is on youtube and its nice someone made a creative video for it

  • @joshgura Can't refrain from judging you...

  • @ortegam123

    1. Introitus

    2. Kyrie Eleison

    3. Dies Irae

  • @ortegam123 first there's Requiem Aeternam, or Introitus, then Kyrie, Lacrimosa, Dies Irae etcetera etcetera

  • @ortegam123 The first piece is the introit(us) Requiem Aeternam, the second sequentia (=part) is Kyrie Eleison, the third sequentia: Dies Irae, Tuba Mirum, Liber Scriptus, Quid sum miser, Rex Tremendae, Recordare, Ingemisco, Confutatis and lacrimosa. fourth sequentia: Domine Jesus and Hostias, fifth: Sanctus, sixth: Benedictus, seventh: Agnus Dei, eight and nine: Communion: Lux Aeternae and Responsory: Libera me

  • @ortegam123 [1] INTROITUS (Requiem aeternam) [2] KYRIE SEQUENCE [3] Dies irae [4] Tuba mirum [5] Rex tremendae [6] Recordare [7] Confutatis [8] Lacrimosa OFFERTORY [9] Domine Jesu [10] Hostias [11] SANCTUS and Osanna [12] Benedictus and reprise of the Osanna [13] AGNUS DEI COMMUNION [14] Lux Aeterna and Cum sanctis tuis
  • I love this, especially the ending! Does anyone know what does Kyrie mean?

  • "Kyrie" is Greek for "Lord"

  • Thanks, but I suppose you mean Latin. Isn't this Latin?

  • No, there were small portions of the Latin mass in which Greek words were retained.

  • Okay, thanks.

  • no, it's not Latin, it's Greek...

  • Michaela, Thank you so much..... Excellent.

  • Dear Michaela!

I`ve watched the three videos based on the Requiem.I always enjoy listening to this piece but your art somehow enhanced it tonight. Please, do NOT underrate your work. It`s thoughtful and there`s a sort of peace-giving quality to it. Damian.

  • Thank you! :D You have made my day! ;)

  • Very well done, I especially like your translation for both Cpnfutatis and the Lacrimosa...will you finish the requiem? Good job with all of your videos and I like your art.

     derReichsprasident

  • Thank you very much, I really appreciate your words and I am happy that you liked my videos. Yes, I am planning to upload translations for the whole Requiem and I hope you will like them too :)
