Be in charge of your case. WCB has 100′s of cases, you only have 1. So how

can they focus on you as well as you can? Stay on top of it on a daily

basis. These are your benefits and rights. If it takes 10 phone calls in

one day, so b…e it. Keep a list of EVERYONE that you speak to. Record

...names, dates, times and the top...ic/answers.

On September 11/09 I got my decision letter from WCAT, ACCEPTED !!! There message was stop screaming 911and I have also won my last 2 reviews. Why did I have to fight so hard to get acceptance for my injuries ?? When I first started protesting 3 years ago I had 3 injuries accepted on my claim Now there are 15, how did they miss 12 major injuries ??

Watch out - when WorkSafe 'implements' the WCAT decision they may ignore your supporting medical as well as info in the WCAT report and 'accept' the claim for health care only. Which will mean appeals again for wage loss or permanent disability assessment. We will all be dead and gone before we get fair compensation from WorkSafe, as it is now.

WorkSafe BC has been mismanaging my claim going on five years; took 3 years before it was accepted at the WCAT. Then WorkSafe did the bait and switch and would accept my claim health care benefits only-3 years too late. I restarted the appeal process. Now awaiting my second WCAT decision. They have done everything we are accusing them of including bogus jobsite visit. I AM SO SICK OF THIS. I so identify with you in this video. Will get $ quicker writing a BOOK!

Should call it Scamsafe BC. They just fined two Vancouver area firms a total of $315,343.71 because of a worker death. How the hell do they come up with that particular sum? Same shit different pile...... I was sent to Columbia Rehab they caused me more pain, treated me like a guinea gig pumped me full of HEAVY narcotics and when I blackout and caused a disturbance they kicked me out of the program. 2 months later they cut me off 6 months later I became homeless

I was learning to deal with the chronic pain and had the pain medications very low, with the increase of pain from the physiotherapy program, I had to increase the pain meds to comply with their instructions of exercises, this caused me further injury and now I am again taking massive amounts of pain medications just to get some relief, after they saw the terrible pain I was in they asked my Doctor for help and he sent me to a pain clinic. WCB terminated my benefits and is DENYING me any HELP:

Hello John, i recently was further injured by the physiotherapy program WCB placed me in. I filed an injury claim but was DENIED HELP FOR THIS INJURY and have been made to appeal again. The Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Centre sent me a letter to give to Physiotherapy so that i could get help. The physiotherapy clinic stated it meant nothing to them and progressed me in the physiotherapy program with threats of non-compliance and loss of benefits if i didn't due as they said. cont'

I did some research and found that all the big name rehab centers in Vancouver are all some how funded by WorkSafe B.C, IMS, Orion, Columbia rehabilitations I have tried to have my injuries assessed privately but all programs that offer these type of services are funded by WorkSafe B.C ..

Pharmaceutical drugs are needed only in the acute stages of injury. WorkSafe B.C and there doctors push these drugs on injured workers and then a couple of years later they they you that you are a junkie, you have an addiction problem..

There is no problem ,As one SIW says being addicted to pain killers in one thing but having to rely on them for pain control is another SIW need to remind them selves that these drugs will cause serious medical problems if these type of medications are used for long periods of time ..

Well I finally have "NO CHOICE" but to go out of country for medical help, DUE to interference with my injury claim by the Sask WCB, if I am EVER to have a chance for my Health Recovery. it sure won't be in Saskatchewan.

Over 70 doctors and specialists and still am DENIED an operation that I need but have been told is to dangerous / and only has a 50% chance of relieving my pain.

3 Specialists have stated this to me, yet every report to WCB fails to mention this WHY? CORRUPTION!
