It was embarrassing to see how many Habs fans showed up for this game, there were literally bus loads of Canadiens fans.

But then again, when the Habs aren't playing well, the fans don't show up. I could understand if it were the Devils or most other teams in the league, but this is the Montreal Canadiens.

To be totally fair, if George Gilette treated the Habs like his own personal roll of toilet paper to save for the express wiping of his worst diarrhea, as Charles Wang, and every other Islander owner has for the past twenty years, has the Islanders, then there might be a lot of empty seats nin the Bell Centre, too. Orm to be accurate, there would be a Bell Centre. They'd be in the Forum still, which would be falling apart from lack of maintenance. That, in a nutshell,is why the LI fans stay away

@rhymes54 I would rather have the Forum, and Maple Leaf Gardens and the Chicago Stadium, as long as they were all well-kept. I hate all the new arenas that all look the same. Having said that, I know what you mean, of course, and it's a shame to see a team that's won four Stanley Cups in the shape it's in.
