Fell in love with this song when I first heard it back in 1979. I waited patiently for the Oscars when Melissa would sing it live, at the piano, As luck would have it I Missed her performance! I was so upset i cried! LOL! Although it did not win the Oscar, in my heart it did, Then a blasphemous remake of the movie and song came in 2010, Pitiful!!! The original will always be better!!! :)

I hear a song like this after so many years and think to myself, what the fuck happened to decent music and the artists who wrote it and those who sung songs like this one? But there is none, because any man made institution cannot provide for us to our benefit, leave alone provide hope.
