Apparently the building that this was shown in (now Monsters INC. Laugh Floor) is still capable of becoming a circle vision theatre again. But I doubt that they will ever resort it to a 360 cinima again, even if they did, it probably wouldn't be "Timekeeper" it would be some random film.
To be honest, when I saw this as a child I hated it because it was boring as hell. I had no idea who either of those people and still did not know until I re-watched this today and saw what books they wrote. The only thing I remember liking about this was 9-eye. Re-watching this now...I am still unimpressed though I can somewhat appreciate it. However I HIGHLY doubt kids would be fascinated at all if it were around today. Highly. If it were re-made into a new show w/o the histo
I'm sure I saw this show, but at the time I didn't get it so I forgot....But does anyone know the other show with Robin Williams as a cartoon character? It might've been the animation studio tour.
Old comment, but I agree. They're art projects people made so long ago, and some of those people might not be around anymore. I think even kids today would think that it's fascinating to see them. But I guess they keep them until they make enough to pay what they spent making them, and make attractions with the latest technology, because that was Disney's vision. But to keep them running is probably a lot of money I'm sure, so they must go, sadly.
-Lovely! Oo, that was a good attraction. I loved having Jules Verne with us. And I absolutely flipped seeing Paris in the future. That looked astonishing! Talk about the City of Lights.
:( I miss this show even though I only saw it once in my life. I don't remember much of it except standing in that room turning my head a lot. Robin did a good job as the Timekeeper as expected.
I saw this show back in 2004. And now I'm glad I was able to see it at all since it doesn't exist anymore. I'm nearly on the verge of tears watching this realizing that. Thank you so much for sharing this, this video is a treasure.
It is a shame that they ripped this out. It was a favorite of mine at Walt Disney World. I had to laugh when the "Laugh Floor" concept bombed in previews. I really think Disney "Imagineering" has lost its way.
nope, Timekeeper closed then LFCC was its repalces ment, if you want tkae a listen to the Mousetimes Podcast show 320 for a full audio recording of the previews they've been doing

Just an idea but to have this show based all in the future as a replacement for Captain EO

Robin Williams was the perfect guy for Timekeeper.
"Hey professor."
"WHAT?"
"You put Jules Verne in a race car?!"
"Oh look up ahead it's the Jamaican team!"

@9:10 I think Girard Depardieu asks 9 eye "Hey, do I look familiar to you?" LOL

This should have never gotten pulled. They should have put the Laugh Floor in to replace Stich and left this alone!

timekeeper chose me becuase i was special to him
chrisswinehart1 3 years ago
They did compose a new soundtrack for the ride. This music is from the Paris version. The audio is a mis of that soundtrack and the American Dub.

anyone else see how Robin Williams dabbled into his "Genie" persona with this?

I used to LOVE this show! xD I used to get so mad that Timekeeper never used to choose me to go into the future.
The Laugh Floor is fun the first few times, but then once you know all the jokes, it gets old /fast/. =/

That was really an imaginative, creative show. I wish they'd get back to original attractions instead of relying on Pixar characters.

rollercoastersrock 5 years ago
right now what is going to be built is the Laugh Floor Comedy Club using Monsters Inc. but it needs a helluva lotta work
DarMar106 5 years ago
The only thing thats funny about the Laughing
floor is that at the beguining they make fun of people and they choose one person and keep on makeing fun of that person through out the show.
