Early Buddhists believed in Brahma, as Creator and Sovreign. Later many modern Buddhists accepted Brahma as an non-sovereign entity. Buddhists still However, believe in the veneration of the Buddha as transmitter of Dharma. Thus Buddhists still believe in an high power and venerate those powers; though they do not believe in a Sovereign creator god like Hindu's, Muslims.. etc.

It sounds more like "political correctness" and a way to be inclusive of all people of faith and religions. Isaiah 14:12 does not speak of Jesus and 'Lucifer' does not directly refer to Satan. Though he was once an angel of light, and sometimes transforms himself into one, and the good angels are called morning stars, # Job 38:7. But as we have said, the king of Babylon is directly intended [#Isaiah 14:22], Yet by implication Satan is included. He is the spirit behind the King, as he was the king of Tyre. Heylel is the Org Hebrew word which means "Shining One" Phosphoros is an interpretation.

In the OT helal is used in reference to the king of Babylon ONLY (Isaiah 14:12). The term is NEVER used to represent either Satan or the Antichrist! The text in Isaiah is hyperbole, and means the rapid fall of the king from power.

Salvation is by GRACE through FAITH. But what is salvation? Is it simply "forgiveness" and a free pass to heaven? Or is it salvation from the power of sin? Freedom from the slavery of Satan? It comes from the God-breathed Scriptures. God decided to let His creation know who He was by inspiring supernaturally men to write and speak His Words.
