1.  The covenant human war started in 2552 and they discovered earth after the fall of reach in 2552.

2. The spartan II's were already in existence and had been in service for over 20 years.

3. There had not been any peace for the first 300 years there had been disputes with the insurectionallists since the start of bio augmentation research in 2020. And they never stopped right up until the human covenant war started in 2025 when they were simply un-important when compared to the covenant.

last time i checked, Harvest was the first colony to be attacked, not Earth... and Earth wasn't involved until almost the end of the war, after the fall of Reach. and the Covenant isn't a single a race, it's what a collection of races call themselves (originally a pact made by the Elites and the Prophets to end their battle)

that explosion was from the blockbuster deep impact when it basically said htat if a meteor hit the earth, than we would be fucked up more than if we voted hilary clinton to president. also the earth was not attacked suddenly by the covenant, but the covenant glassed most of the planets we have colonized. so we had plenty of time before the covenant attacked earth in halo 2. and for those who have not read the halo novels, but want to learn more about the game series known as halo, read them!!!

Ok, this is a none super halo fan talking, They didn't meet on Earth, they met on Harvest (Halo Wars) and Spartans were anti-riot units before the war (Halo Wars somewhere)...and what the heck was that explosion on the surface?!?!? Last i heard the covenant used a laser to glass the surface of the planet....and John Spartan 117 was not that big a deal till all the others died... lol.. sorry about this long rant...i really don't like halo :P

masterchief was only important when he became the leader of the spartan 2 program and the only reason the spartan 2 program even started was to fight back the covenant in the war. spartan 1's were merely riot police before the covenant even arrived. spartan 3's are basically a faster production of spartans but didnt gain enough training as spartan 2s so theyre suicide missionaries

When they were given the finale set of enhancements they all knew that some wouldnt survive. One guy, his body was made so fragile he has to float in liquid.

The halo film is really long over 4 hours apparently as it is based on the books fall of reach and the flood which blends into the game. its late due to jackson half way through dropping out but coming back. I know it is still going on as in the Bee movies Special features on how it is made they use the same software to create bee movie as they are using to create the halo film. also they got the height of master chief right as well as it showed a glimpse of some stand and a 7 foot spartan.

2) a new breed of heros was already made SPARTAN PROJECT II was still alive becouse of the master chief.
