Oscar is an interesting name. If I were to have a boy, I'd probably pick Nathanial or Noah. They aren't necessarily strange names, but Nathanial and Noah aren't names you hear all the time like Mike.
yeah i'd go for unique names too. something that has alot of character (like toni!) :P
names like 'fay' or 'fairuza' (from the actress fairuza balk), one of my friends name is 'nashelle' we call her 'nashie' for short...sometimes i try to make up names that sound cool..mix and match some..
ever notice how it's actually easier to come up with girls names more than boys names?

Personally, I want to name my kids normal names that you just don't hear that often anymore.
My boys, Jim and Jack
