@StarAdder92 Fun Fact! As you may or may not know, Soulstorm wasn't made by Relic, it was made by Ironlore. It was actually their last game ever made, and the company actually closed during production! I think it was either rushed (Which possibly explains the inaccurate and memetic voice acting), or that they were really close to finishing it, with the exception of balancing the new factions and a few minor bugs.

@HalfTangible Well, given a few companies of several hundred, plus the armor, weapons, and vehicles at their disposal, outnumbering wasn't really his objective. It was guerrila tactics, whittling down enemy forces, and then the final punch. Ultimately, this would never work, unless the person is dumb enough to attack with small forces.

@colonelchris92 That was the point. Such a plan might work for, say, the Imperial Guard, where each of those forces would be deployed in massive numbers... but Boreale actually states aloud that the plan is to overwhelm the enemy. With SPACE MARINES.

Space Marines are purposely deployed in situations where 'overwhelming' isn't possible. If it were, they would've sent the guard.

Dawn of War II took away from the canonical engagements given in DC. Again, it was more like CoH. The Annihilation Mod 1.7.1 for Dark Crusade is the best Warhammer you will ever play.

Not to mention, DoW II had a horrible way of packaging its memory, and required a very good graphics card to play, while graphics were only improved by approximately 15% for models/landscapes on highest resolution. I still play Dark Crusade.
