@My0neManArmy I live in Argentina and here football (or futbol) is our favorite sport and it's very common for us to play it regularly, the idea of only watching sports in TV instead of playing it it's not that common around here. They are genetically manipulated, and bred. So, if humans were bred the same way, they would be a cultivated race. If you then let these breed with whoever they wanted, the cultivated race would disappear, and natural race would reappear. You can never escape race. You can never have a world with only unique individuals.

US isn't the only country with that issue. Here in Venezuela many people is from Italian, Spanish and Portuguese descent so everytime we're in the World Soccer Cup year guess whose flags they wave! The reason Americans aren't interested in proper football is the obverse of the reason why the English don't bother with American sports: why watch something second rate at home knowing there's something much better happening elsewhere but played by teams you can't care about? They are genetically manipulated, and bred. So, if humans were bred the same way, they would be a cultivated race. @GrandFunker That's simple, the entire white middle class (which made up the majority of the audience at any game) has moved elsewhere. Urban flight, another side effect of multiculturalism. In most cities across the country, poor blacks/browns live in cities and all the whites have left. St. Louis is a GREAT example of this. At one time it was a beautiful city, now it's just trash and so violent that people don't even go there unless they have to. It's a shame.

@GrandFunker I can't imagine living in a large city like that. Despite the fact that I've been raised all my life in the country, the thought of living in a dirty, violent, smelly, crime-ridden city is one of the most unappealing things I could think of. Then when you add to that the fact that they're mostly overrun by minorities, the whole thing sounds like hell-on-earth to me. What will eventually happen is all whites will move to the country and the minorities will destroy the cities.

US isn't the only country with that issue. Here in Venezuela many people is from Italian, Spanish and Portuguese descent so everytime we're in the World Soccer Cup year guess whose flags they wave! It doesn't matter if they are the third generation and don't even speak "their" original language. At least the "true" US citizens would support the US Soccer Team, down here I've seen many "true" Venezuelans waving another country's flags just because our National Team isn't good enough.

@FreshOvenCakes Actually, we won the territory in a War AND we paid them money for it, which we didn't have to do. I really wish people would do a bit of research on history. Winning territory in a war may not be the best way to acquire it, but we also paid a tremendous amount of money for the territories. When you purchase something, it belongs to you. So this whole reconquista is nonsense and should be met with violent resistance, it legally belongs to the USA, end of story.

It first belonged to the indians, then spain/portugal/france/britain, then primarily white european settlers until around 1913 or so, at which time the Government was taken over by powerful bankers of the "finn" variety and it's been all downhill since then. The reason Americans aren't interested in proper football is the obverse of the reason why the English don't bother with American sports: why watch something second rate at home knowing there's something much better happening elsewhere but played by teams you can't care about? US gridiron football (hand-egg) is the best in the world, MLS isn't remotely competitive when compared to the leagues in England, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Italy. Probably not even Scotland.
It's called a football match.

I'd be interested to know what game you went to see when you were in England.
I may get stick for saying this, but so be it, I think the reason America hasn't embraced football in the same way as the rest of the entire world, is simply because Americans, by and large, have no passion, and football is a passionate game. Also, Americans don't like the idea of spending 2 hours watching a sport that could end with no score.

@modelmark no here is the opposite, no big taxes, but the state is almost inexistent so the corporations (banks, department stores that give credit) do what they want with us.. we work for misery salaries, we are submitted to monopolic corporations, if the bankers deceive us they receive no punishment (corporatocrats and politicians are friends here, our president is one of them) here the vast majority of people work for corporations, we live in debt, all the extremes are bad i guess :(
