  • Todd did take time to apologize for what happened at the Lakeland "Revival(?)", took time for restoration but continues his antics. Unbelieveable.

  • It is so good to see a brother delivered from demons, especially the religious kind!!! It is great to see Todd getting restoration and healing in his life!!! I know all you fellow believers really want that too!! Right?? God does. God loves Todd Bentley, and it is great to see the man get a new start. God will continue to do wonderful things through His ministry through him.

  • Its BAD ENOUGH having to LISTEN TO IT,

without having to LOOK AT IT! Piercings in

the FACE, Tattoos on rolls of fat...

If you can't see EVIL you have so little

    discernment you wouldn't know

Satan if you tripped over him.

  • I Know Jesus, So Who Are You?

  • Here's the problem I see with the "he's not a real christian" argument. Everybody is just basically pulling this stuff out of nowhere. It's all just make believe. You can not counter his make believe stories without exposing how yours sound equally fictional. Quoting scripture can be used to justify nearly anything. No, literally anything. There is no right and wrong in the land of make believe. There is only his story and your story and who will pay to listen to them.

  • @rrpostalagain i do not base my feelings on the bible wow you are ignorant

  • @jesusisawsome1000 Somewhat of a non-sequitor there. You can justify anything you say or do by using the bible. How that makes me ignorant or has anything to do with your feelings I don't know.

  • bentley is a false prophet

  • i disagree with your video on the point of Christians having demons. YES Christians can have demons or strongholds in their life, if there's disobedience or rebellion or a bloodline curse. trust me, i've heard about it all. Christians who have been delivered by God's healing power, it's VERY possible to have a demon inside you or manifesting through you.

  • @PRL2204 Show me where in the Bible a believer was possessed by a demon. Show me where in the Bible this is even made possible through doctrine. When we forsake the Bible as the center of our belief system, we create superstitious heresy that is no longer Christianity, and often not even resembling said religion.

  • @theEmerican30 saul known as paul had demon for pete sake he killed christians before he got saved

  • @jesusisawsome1000 The Bible never says he had a demon. And he killed Christians before he became one.

  • @theEmerican30 so your telling me he killed christian but didn't have demon killing christian (martyring)

is antichrist spirit and why do you have to be so religious people sin they let demons and in therefore get demons that is why deliverance is there to get out demons from you if you have sin you have demon so you need deliverance

  • @jesusisawsome1000 I'd be interested in exactly what book, chapter, and verse that theology is taken from. :)

  • @theEmerican30 i feel sorry for u

  • @jesusisawsome1000 Because I base my theology on the Bible? If so, the feelings are mutual. If your beliefs are not based on the Bible, you are not a Christian. You are merely taking bits and pieces of Christianity to form your own religion.

  • @PRL2204 "trust me, i've heard about it all." I've heard about a lot of stuff. I prefer to base my theology on the Bible, not hearsay.

  • @PRL2204 I would say that the difference between then and now is that we don't get possessed, but rather we give control or believe what the Demon says is true and thus give it power.

  • has anyone laid criminal charges of assualt against this maniac?

  • @Mousetrapers He was caught having an affair with a female staff member. Last I heard he had stepped down from his Canada-based ministry 'Fresh Fire Ministry' and was receiving "discipleship" or something from Pop Christianity's prophet Bob Jones.

  • greg95945....i heard about the affair...he drank too?.....At least Benny LOOKS the part...Todd looks like he drinks!!...i know we cant judge by appearance..but GEE..how could he deceive people lookin like that?...i see how Benny deceives

  • the truth being that poor gullible woman did not in all probability did not, in fact feel the power and glory, but in fact felt the full force of his size eight biker boot she recieved from this obvious charalaton, and false prophet.

  • Todd is a knight of malta! Watch him and Rick Joyner. They plan on a civil war between "spiritual" christians and those who actually study the word of God and test the spirits. Check out my channel and bio. Peace.

  • It was really exiting to believe that I would one day go to a magical place if I believed in it. Growing up sucks.

  • instead getting together in his LOve, u are just fighting against each other, looks like a bunch of pharisees !

  • Todd Bentley is no longer in the position of leadership because he had an affair with a staff person, while he was married. He also often drank alcohol before and during services. He needs to have a true tean of Godly men oversee him and bring his false teachings, and healings, to an end so that the truth can be broughr fourth

  • The only thing bigger than Bentley's belly and ass is his ego!!!!

  • Let me say this. If "you" are saying the will of God then it is not the will of God. You will know instinctively what the will of God is if your truly in it.

  • It's not possible to be outside the will of God. :)

  • Paul was not allowed by God to discuss his visitation yet, the Apostle John was told to share what he saw...hmmmmm. No one can show a TRUE shred of evidence that Bentley is doing and teaching things that are unscriptural. Remember that Christ Himself said that satan can not cast out satan. So who are we to believe? Those who say that Bentley has a demon and thats how the healings are taking place or Jesus?

  • True, Jesus did say that Satan can not cast out Satan. However, at that time, there were many fakers who would pay people to pretend to be possessed or even worse, the demons would go into remission because the appearance of freedom would aid the person doing the "deliverance", who the enemy wanted to prosper. Just because he allegedly casts out demons means nothing. The Apostle John was told to share these things to warn the church. And we don't know whether it was the 3rd Heaven John visited.

  • Where is that in the Bible?? And yes John was in the 3rd Heaven because that is where the Throne of God is..... Read the book.... Do not talk about scriptural things when you don't know the scripture. Learn the Word as Paul tells Timothy.

  • It's not in the Bible...it's a historical fact ;). The Seven Sons of Scheva come to mind. Where does the Bible say that that is where the Throne of God is? It doesn't. I could say the same to you lol. :)

  • Ok, Lets see how knowledgable you are. Where are the first 2 heavens? You have a good site and some good vids but do not let man guide you. Stay in the word and get knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Let the Holy Spirit guide you in all truth.

    God Bless

  • I'm assuming by the first two heavens you mean the first heaven as mentioned in Revelation 21, the one that passes away and gives way to a new heaven (the second heaven). Honestly, it isn't mentioned much in the Bible. In fact, the third Heaven isn't either. All we know is that what is seen and heard there is unlawful to repeat. Believe me, I do my best to stay away from the opinions of man. Everything I speak about Bentley is spoken from lining his teachings up with the Word.

  • ok so where do his teaching faulter? And no I do not mean the first heaven as mentioned in Rev 21. There are 3 heavens currently where are they?

  • If you do not mean the first heaven as mentioned in Revelation 21 then I'm not sure what you mean, as the Bible makes no mention of another "first heaven". Consequently, the first Heaven as mentioned in Revelation 21 IS current.

His teachings faulter at the points mentioned in the video. He teaches that Spirit-filled Christians can be possessed. He teaches that Abraham wrote Ephesians with Paul, who he met in the Third Heaven. He talks about "gold dust" that comes from Heaven, which is funny...

  • ...because the only place gold dust is mentioned is from the golden calf at the foot of Mt Sinai...coincidence?

  • Is it possible that gold dust could come from The One who created it in the first place. Let me help you with my other question. The 1st and 2nd heavens you can see. The 3rd you can not this is where the New Jerusalem is along with Gods Throne. Please read Rev 21 as reference. Also Dr. Jack Van Impe has taught numorous times on this subject. please look it up for yourself.

  • God creates a lot of things that Satan uses.

Please cite any biblical references, because I'm pretty sure they don't exist. And you said you weren't talking about Revelation 21. Please explain.

  • Dear TouchofGod:

    2 Thess 2:9

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

    KJV

  • ok B&B you want to go with scripture...

    Mark 16:15-18

    Matthew 7:1-5

    Matthew 12:31-32 & Mark 3:28-30

Do you want to keep going because it is pointless. Those who have eyes yet don't see and ears and don't hear will never come in to the fullness of Gods power and Glory.

All Glory and Praise to the Great God Jehovah

  • Dear TiycgifGid: We are NOT talking about "motes" in the eye. We are talking about SATAN being allowed in the church to impart demons on whomever he can deceive.

  • Brother, Once again SATAN CAN NOT CAST OUT SATAN....If you believe in the Bible then you would believe this verse. Yes during the End Times the enemy will us signs and wonders to show off power. He will not however cast out demons or heal people. why is this so hard to understand? why is it so easy for people to dismiss Gods Power and Glory? All things work to the good of those who believe. Also look at Jer 33:3 Have you done that latley?

  • What are you talking about. Who is dismissing God's Power? We are talking about demons being loosed on the church to seek and destroy all those he can deceive.

I don't think Todd is beyond salvation, at least I hope he's not. But Emma the angel is not going to save him.

  • As I said this is pointless. Once again you fail to read scripture. What person with a demon (either possessed or having one attached to him /her) is going to give God glory and praise. Do you not know that in scripture that is not possible. Since the beginning of the outpouring the heresy hunters have been out to disprove it. Bottom line satan is about self. The outpouring has been about God. So answer me that Biblically.

  • Romans 1,22 Professung themselves to be wis, they became fools.

Todd Bentley is a man of God

  • i wonder if he thought he was a man of God when he was shagging that woman? maybe he shouted bam shika boomba praise the lord as he was doing it!

  • Spirit of the Anti Christ.

We continue to stone the prophets.

    Spirit of the Phariasees.

We continue to crucify Jesus for not coming the way we think He should.

    Spirit of Control.

We will point the finger and tear down because we are afraid of what it could mean if they are right.

    Forgive us Holy SPirit.

  • Spirit of the Anti-Christ...we will hate Christ.

Spirit of the Pharisees...we will live a holy life in front of people and be a different person within our hearts.

Spirit of Control...we will try to control and manipulate people and circumstances.

What you see here is none of those things, sir. We are trying to discern whether the teachings of Todd Bentley are heretical or not. Thus far, I haven't heard the first logical argument to say that they aren't heretical.

  • I posted sources for the teachings listed in the video in the More info section. I shortened many of the audio clips due to time constraints and the fact that I wanted the video to be timed to that song. Perhaps this was a mistake on my part. However, I assure you, I did not take anything out of context. That bugs me when people do that.

  • I can understand that, but even when signs and miracles are verified, that doesn't mean that it's coming through the man. God can touch someone who earnestly seeks Him regardless of the situation. One more thing: how do you reconcile his heretical teachings with his ministry?

  • Is there a reason people are tearing at each other on here? Please keep any ad hominem to yourselves. At least try to represent Christ on here, please. Thanks.

  • Todd Bentley is another one of those False Prohpets of God. He preaches what he believes over the air waves and puts on a "show" to entice people to follow him instead of CHRIST! He sucks them in for their money so he can drive around in a car named after him.

Look at all the other T.V. Preachers....they have multi~million dollar homes and 6 cars.

Benny Hinn, Randy and Paula White, Joyce Meyer, T.D. Jakes and many more. Christians are being deceived by these people.

  • Take a look at Joyce Meyer for instance....She has 4 mansions on her property. She and her children live in each of them.

I'm not saying Jesus wants anybody to live in a dumster but when someone that is a preacher of God and has gold faucets and door knobs in their house something is not right.

  • I'll defend the revival and the move of God, but i don't like all that extravagance in the ministry, really makes me sick... I think it makes God sick too. If what you say about Joyce Meyer is true then thats sickening as well.

  • Honestly, I don't see Bentley being too greedy. That's one thing I would say is commendable. He has released his records for public audit, and you'd better believe the media would be all over the slightest abuse there. He hasn't drawn any money from the Florida Outpouring; he still gets his regular salary from his base ministry in Canada.

  • You did a great job with this video.

    Jim

  • Thanks, JimQualls.

  • The funny thing about you Bentleyites is that you tell us to close our eyes & just take your word for it... if not, we lack faith, the spirit, baptism - whatever you think of at the moment.

We're telling YOU to open your eyes and study this guy in the light of scripture, which is what the Bible tells us to do... THEN you slam us, call us names, tell us we're not Christians. Who has the real problem here? It's obvious - Bentley's "spirit" is a deceiver.

  • rofl... he' thinks I'm you...

  • He's a loon - plain and simple. Instead of trying to calmly discuss the issues, providing evidence to support their claims, the Bentleyites are shrill and rude, calling names, running away from issues. They're very much like the pharisees who, if their comfy existance is challenged, they start throwing stones. If the web were real life, we'd all be under a pile of stones from the Bentleyites & they'd go back to requiring everyone to have the same experience as them, discounting all scripture.

  • It's ok, ele's buddie greg caused me to stumble and I found out where ele lives by tracing his MAC. He's dead. I'm going to kill him in front of his family and then tell them God told me to do it. He thinks I'm kidding...pray for me.

  • Curtis: you 've already stumbled, maybe you should try some counceling, you're obviously very disturbed. I hold prayer meetings at my house, i'd be glad to councel you and your hooker wife. Let me know.

  • BT aka Curtis, what a lie, we never told you to close ur eyes we given you scripture you did not even know was in the Bible time and again. Ur ignorance knows no bounds but is only surpassed by ur pride.

  • "Persons are very ready to be suspicious of what they have not felt themselves. It is to be feared many good men have been guilty of this error... These persons that thus make their own experience their rule of judgment, instead of bowing to the wisdom of God, and yielding to His Word as an infallible rule, are guilty of casting a great reflection upon the understanding of the Most High" -Jonathan Edwards on Revival"

  • More about "spiritual drunks"

1 Pet 5:8 "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

1 Pet 4:7 "The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer."

1 Pet 1:13 "Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit"

2 Tim 4:5 "But you, be sober in all things"

Clearly, the edict is to be sober-minded, in control, prayerful, and alert.

  • I think there is a lot of flesh that pretends to be "spiritually drunk" and collapses to the ground. However, I believe that there really are people who are so overcome by God that they can do nothing else but fall to the ground. An example of this in the Bible is when the soldiers came to arrest Jesus, and asked which one of them was Jesus. Jesus replied, "I Am" and they fell to the ground at these words. They were overcome by God.

  • Yes, I can see being overcome with God's power. I don't see, though, the drunk in the spirit nonsense. I would HOPE that those who act this way are merely acting - if not, they really need to test the spirits that are making them do this, because it's not Biblical. There are a myriad of verses admonishing us to be sober, sober-minded, vigilant, and disciplined. There are NO verses telling us to be out of control.

  • I think people try to mimic what they think happened in Acts 2, and pick out where people called the Apostles drunk (I guess they miss the part where Peter refuted those claims in verse 15 lol). The problem is, they've given themselves over to their feelings rather then what the Word actually says.

  • Exactly! And while there's nothing wrong with emotions, we should live by them and certainly shouldn't build our faith on them. Further, it's disconcerting to see the emphasis on the alleged miraculous. I see so many who say you have to be healthy & wealthy or there's something wrong with your spiritual life, when Jesus had nowhere to lay His head and had a life full of trials. The proponents of this view that I know ALL get sick just like anyone else.

  • believingcritics: Now why don't you balance yourself out with some scriptures about being filled with the Holy Spirit and look at the scripture in Acts where those that were filled were presumed to be drunk? I totally agree with the scriptures you quoted, but you are unbalanced with that critical spirit.. you're aiming the sword of Gods Word toward those that love God and love Gods Word. Balance tommy, balance.

  • I'ver replied to this several times, but I'll give it one more shot.

The apostles made no claim to be drunk - they merely spoke in the languages of their hearers, some of whom mocked them & claimed they must be drunk. Peter, on the other hand, said that they were NOT drunk. Bentley claims to BE drunk in the spirit, which has NO scriptural foundation - ANYWHERE.

1 Cor 15: 34 "Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning; for some have no knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame."

  • Greg, I just caught Believing1Thomas aka Curtis they are the one and the same. On another channel I had posted to BT and Curtis showed up and answered the post as if he was BT. He quickly changed ID's and started posting in defense of Curtis. Thought you should know this person is not only Biblically ignorant but a deceiver.

  • ele: Thanks, I believe he is a teen ager probably, that would explain his attitude and ignorance of the Bible. Probably just home from school and bored.

  • It is sad people like him show up with multible usernames slandering someone and posting lies.

  • Ele: It looks like cerebralgump may be another alias... he came to the defense of thomas saying "what the hell", lol, gotta be some middle school kid home from school... doesn't know the Bible that well either.

  • I'm an alias now... rofl... And I don't know the Bible that well eh ? Based on what ? Your opinion ? Wow, there's credibility...

  • cerebrallychallenged: Prove that you're not, come up with a different slant than your previous aliases had, lol, if you can.

  • Prove that I'm not ? How am I supposed to do that ? And why do you keep going on about aliases ? I think you're a bit of a peanut. I'm not gonna waste more time on you.

  • Its hard to prove lies isn't it curtis? You try though, you're a deceiver but you have been busted yet again.

  • Curtis and his imaginary ex-hooker wife going nuts on YT! How many new aliases will show up next week to twist God's word, slander God's people and try hard to spread confusion. What a guy!

  • This cerebral guy seemed like curtis as well, when I asked him to come up with a new idea or "slant" he calls me a peanut and says he's not gonna spend time with me... LOL, sounds like curtis is out of ideas... but not aliases.

  • I thought the same thing, I am sure Curtis will be back or his so-called ex-hooker wife. LOL!

  • Ele: Lam made the comment above that I keep calling believingthomas curtis, how could he know that unless he is curtis... lol, now I think every critic is curtis, this is crazy.

  • Greg, what a scammer, now we wait for Dawn to show up and bring another slant or Hook to the situation. Opps did I just say Hook! LOL!

  • You ARE a peanut. I'm NOT curtis or Believing1Thomas or whoever ! I really am sick of your false accusations. You've got nothing to defend Todd Bentley with and so you get into this rubbish... you're just a troll.

  • lam: Lol, maybe you're not curtis, but then again you could be, He is a critic that signed in under several different names so he could lie and slander todd... Ele caught him red handed. I was in a forum where muslims were attacking the revival. So Lam, you are in that kind of company, critics that don't care to lie and muslims that are full of hate. How well do you fit in to that little clique?

  • Hey greg! Still watching Girls Gone Wild? How bout ALL that internet pornography you try and hide? You call me a critic? If I were of the world you'd already would've been introduced to God face to face. If it wasn't for Jesus Christ greg, you'd be nothing but a statistic. Keep pushing greg, keep pushing till I stumble greg. I DO KNOW this one thing, if I pray hard enough, we will meet face to face and I'll SEE with my eyes the promises of my God minifested...keep pushing calling my wife a whore

  • Curtis: LOL, YOU'RE A LOON !! IF YOU THINK YOU'RE SO BAD THEN CONTACT ME IN MY INBOX, I'D BE GLAD TO "LAY HANDS ON YA" , I'd be glad to councel you and your hooker wife :)

  • Why do you keep calling me curtis ? You call Believing1Thomas curtis as well... you think I'm Believing1Thomas ?

  • Lam: How do you know I'm calling believing thomas curtis unless you ARE believingthomas? Busted again Curt, you almost pulled that one off.

  • "How do you know I'm calling believing thomas curtis"

err... because you keep calling him curtis...

  • Lam1ngton. I'm the Curtis those 2 apostates are refering to. They both called my wife a whore so I came to her defence. They both think you, Believing1Thomas, curtisrlevey, KillerTrumpet, DawnTransformed and myself are the same person. This is what they do when they are caught openly lying and defaming people. They stick to man made tactics to cause others to stumble and I'm right on the brink. There is no fear of God in their eyes and I'm just about setting it up for them both to meet God.

  • curtis: I meant to say X hooker wife, sorry about that... i'd still be glad to councel you guys... I believe in laying on of hands, so if you're ready for that ugly demon to be cast out of ya, hey, just come on over.

  • I had a feeling he would show up again with another alias who knows how many he has. LOL!

  • More about the "drunk in the spirit" nonsense:

Acts 26:25 "But Paul *said, "I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus, but I utter words of sober truth." Clearly, sober speech is needed to evangelize

1 Thes 5: 6, 8 "so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober" and "But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation"

  • Mmore from Brown's book "When He visits His Church, serious shaking will take place." - one of the verses that Bentleyites are fond of quote is "where 2 or more are gathered, there will I be..." I agree with the Word of God, but wonder why there is so much talk of a "visitation"?

Bottom line with this book is that there are a few scattered Biblical references designed to prove a point, not be an examination of scripture. The rest is all just opinion.

  • More from Brown's book:

"A religious hypocrite produces bondage instead of freedom. His religion is filled with lists of "do this" and "don't do that," and he measures himself (and others) by outward performance and arbitrary standards."Definitely a Bentley thing - Outward performance

"A religious hypocrite is more concerned with outward forms and traditions than with the power of God, mercy, and compassion" - More of the same

Bottom line - this is just a guy talking, not God.

  • gregladon - here are a few excerpts in the book you referenced:

"A religious hypocrite claims to have an exclusive corner on the truth, even among God's people." - sounds like you, buddy!

"A religious hypocrite is self-righteous." You again

"A religious hypocrite is highly critical." Wow - spooky

"A religious hypocrite wants his spirituality to be seen" Amazingly gregladon

"A religious hypocrite is cynical and skeptical." Wow - spot on!

  • In michael browns book "holy laughter to holy fire" he has a hypocrites checklist. Number 5 is a highly critical spirit... it would do you critics good to pick up that book and read as he expounds the scriptures and paints a perfect picture of the critics of revival.

  • Is ad hominen from either side going to glorify God? Please correct in a spirit of love as much as possible. Calling a person a non-Christian simply because he or she does not agree with you on a minor theological issue (I deem major issues to be the deity of Christ, salvation by grace through face, etc) is immature to say the least. Calling someone a Muslim because they agree with the Muslims on something is laughable. Do you believe that a chair can hold you? So do Muslims! You must be one!

  • Well said, theEmerican30. I know I've probably gone a bit overboard when I've allowed myself to be provoked.

I don't, however, agree that these Bentley issues are minor issues. He's teaching not just minor false teachings, but steering folks away from the Gospel - Galations 1...

See these vids for more info:

Search for "An Insider's Warning - Florida Revival - True or False Outpouring?"

    AND

"Signs and Wonders and the Lakeland Revival"

They're both multi-part, so please watch them all.

  • True, it is dangerously serious to teach heretical doctrine, but just because someone is sucked into a lie, I will not refuse to call him or her a brother or sister in Christ when they have "confessed with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believed in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead." You know?

  • Agreed - the worse I've done along those lines is to call them into question so they can see the absurdity of doing the same to others who don't agree with them.

Bentley, however, I wonder about. I know I can't see into his heart, but I don't know how you preach such heretical stuff if you know the Lord. I guess just about anything's possible, though.

  • True, you haven't refused to call someone else a brother or sister in Christ (at least, that I've seen). That was sort of just a general statement.

I completely agree. I don't really know where Bentley stands with God, so I'll just pray that his eyes will be opened to the reality of what he's teaching.

  • I discovered in one of the other todd bashing forums that many of the critics are MUSLIM ! So now the critical pharisees are aligning themselves with the anti-christ religion of Islam.

  • That is guilt by association which in no way addresses any point anyone has raised. It is yet another red herring.

"The one who states his case first seems right,

until the other comes and examines him." Proverbs 18:17

  • Well done. All you have to do is listen to the fool, Bentley, speak his foolishness.

  • My purpose in creating and posting this video was not to have Christians bashing each other. Please maintain a Christ-like attitude in these comments. For those who rated this video and posted encouraging comments, thank you. For those who oppose this video...I have posted my sources and Scriptures...where are yours? Keep in mind, the contents of this video are only a small portion of the horrid theology of Todd Bentley.

  • Another gem "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!"

  • We can learn from Bentley's own words - He said "What's important, however, are not the details of, for instance, a vision, but how it points to Jesus." One of Bentley's supposed revelations from God is that he was not to preach Jesus, but angels.

Paul said "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified."

  • Interesting that gregladon says that many of the critics have had a "false conversion to christ" - I'm wondering - just how would he determine that? Through a few lines typed on Youtube? This, as opposed to hours and hours of teaching from Bentley?

  • believing: Many of the critics site "THE SINNERS PRAYER" or a sacrament such as baptism as their means of salvation. If you're trusting in a man made prayer or a sacrament then no wonder you're a critic, you're of the kingdom of this world, that is why spiritual things are so hard for you.

  • Many? So?

I'm not trusting in anything man-made -I'm trusting in Jesus Christ. I'm a critic of Bentley because he teaches false doctrines. Spiritual things AREN'T hard for me. Your rude assertion that I'm on the "kingdom of this world" is off-base and shows your arrogance. You're not the Holy Spirit - you don't know my heart.

I'm not judging Bentley's heart, but his words and actions; testing the spirits, which is what we're told to do in the Word.

  • believeslies: Be careful, your hypocrisy is showing, lol... God have mercy on me but have judgement on Todd, lol, you're pathetic. Your words on here judge you, by them you'll be justified or by them you'll be condemned... you type to your own shame. Sad for you.

  • "believeslies: Be careful, your hypocrisy is showing, lol... God have mercy on me but have judgement on Todd, lol, you're pathetic. Your words on here judge you, by them you'll be justified or by them you'll be condemned... you type to your own shame. Sad for you."

Huh? This entire post makes no sense.

  • believesworldovergod: of course it makes no sense to your carnal mind... repent and turn towards God, call on the name of Jesus so that you can be saved.

  • It makes no sense to my mind, which is not carnal (when did you decide you're the Holy Spirit?) is because it is such poor english and because there's no frame of reference. If you're going to take my words out of context (just like you do the Word) to slam me, then you need to quote them so people have an idea what you're talking about.

  • believesquran: it makes no sense to your mind because you are carnally minded... stop using excuses... are the signs in Mark 16 following your ministry or not? Just answer the question.

  • "believesquran" - typical tactic of the loony left - I guess also works for those who don't really believe the Bible - they want to discuss the truth, they want to divert attention from facts by doing personal attacks.

Tell me - have you started handling snakes? Do you drink poison? If not, I guess YOU don't believe that part of Mark 16 completely then.

Watch the videos, if you have any integrity left in you that your religious spirit hasn't chased out.

  • "believesquran" - What the hell kind of comment is this ? You say something like this and then you have the gall to go on about how somebody else is carnal minded ? You're an idiot.

  • cerebralmidget: Lol, got your shorts in a wad, lol.

  • Curtis: You sound like a real christian, lol, "what the hell" is that how you act away from church... I bet at church you're all holy and at home you watch R rated movies. Stop being a hypocrite and get real.

  • Hey tell you what, since you believe you're so 'spiritual' that you feel you can get away with cheap shots like, "believesquran", does that mean we should maybe stoop to your level and start calling you, "gregbinladen" ?

  • cerebralfamine: Lol, that is funny. Hey, a little "nickname" calling poking fun at you stuffy super serious critics is half the fun.

  • There are 2 series of vids on Youtube you need to watch:

Search for "An Insider's Warning - Florida Revival - True or False Outpouring?"

    AND

"Signs and Wonders and the Lakeland Revival"

I doubt you'll do it, because of YOUR "spirit of religion" won't allow you to, since you submit to it, but you should - might save you.

  • One thing I've noticed about many of the critics is they've had a false conversion to christ... they gave ascent to a few theological ideas, some body said they were saved, dunked'em in water and sealed it.. ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU.... so wise up, if the above defines your salvation experience then you need to be born again... don't go to hell for your theology.

  • It certainly is not real!

  • I wont go into detail but I was a mess one night lost in my own torment when God spoke to me audibly. His voice came from everywhere and nowhere, it was like "like the roar of many waters" (Rev 1:15), like the sound of a jet engine all around you... it was startlingly frightening, it stopped me dead in that moment, and it only lasted that moment.

He said, "THE CROSS!!!!" And that is all.

The audible voice of God is nothing like Bentley's flippant and blasphemous storytelling.

  • Lam: You had an experience like that and then you criticize others who have had experiences with God !! You should be glorifying God, there is so much more to God than what we realize... go to 1st corinthians ch. 12, it'll explain to you that there are differences in the members of the Body of Christ, yet we are all one body.

  • No. You don't get to misrepresent and distort what I have said. I have not criticized "others who have had experiences with God". I have criticized false and unscriptural teaching.

Your misuse of 1st Corinthians 12 does not in any way excuse Todd Bentley for his demonic doctrines.

  • Lam: You just see through a glass darkly... very darkly.

  • Better so see through a glass darkly than to drink from Bentley's cup of iniquity.

  • Lam: Wow, so are you sinless Lam? You have no past, no testimony..... you couldn't have a testimony, because you havn't overcome the devil and thats how saints overcome him....are you trusting in the sinners prayer for salvation, or baptism?

  • "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

"they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death" Revelation 12:11

"everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith" 1John 5:4

"whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." John 5:24

  • Lam: So you can quote scripture, where is your fruit? Are signs following your teaching and preaching? Or are you teaching that God is word only and no power?

  • "where is your fruit? Are signs following your teaching and preaching?"

"the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-24

"Or are you teaching that God is word only and no power?"

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" Romans 1:16

"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment" John 7:24

  • lam: so you think Jesus took the stripes for nothing or is healing part of the gospel?

    Are you a muslim?

  • How can you say "so you think Jesus took the stripes for nothing" right after I just quoted Romans 1:16 ?

And when did I ever say I did not believe in healing ? Why don't you try addressing what is said instead of constantly blowing smoke.

    "Are you a muslim?"

Obviously I am not a Muslim. I believe in Jesus Christ who is my Lord and Saviour.

"there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

  • Lam: I have unknowingly been debating with muslims attacking the revival... i thought you might be one... forgive me for asking.

  • Good way to dodge the question, but still, are signs following you? Or are you a cloud without rain? Do you have a form of godliness but deny the power? You should pay attention here, you may find that you need to meet the Lord.

  • Gregladon - Dodge what question? Signs, what signs are you referring to? Bentley doesn't give any signs at all. These supposed "signs" that he's doing are common in new age and non-Christian circles - have been for years before the Charismatic movement showed up. Take a look at this vid series: "Signs and Wonders and the Lakeland Revival" I don't deny the power of God - I just deny that Bentley is using God's power.

I've met the Lord and walked with Him for many years.

  • believinghannagraff: Lol, you know the scriptures don't you? These signs shall follow them that believe? Or do you know that scripture? I don't think its in your quran.

  • You're a bloody loon. I'm not surprised that you can jump from loony assumption to loony assumption. The Bible clearly describes you as one with "itching ears" and one who pursues "every wind of doctrine." Your so deceived you don't even know what it takes to be a Christian.

BTW - MOST people who oppose false prophets are Christians - non-Christians don't need to - it just makes them laugh.

  • "Good way to dodge the question"

    I'm not dodging any questions.

    "are signs following you?"

What signs in particular ? Earlier you confused the fruit of the Spirit with gifts. And now you're blatantly misusing scripture like this: "are you a cloud without rain? Do you have a form of godliness but deny the power?" That is a blatant misuse of scripture exhibiting a total disregard for context.

"you may find that you need to meet the Lord"

Who did I already tell you my Lord is ?

    Can't read ?

  • Lam1ngton - this poor guy is so deceived he doesn't know which way is up, spiritually speaking. Having no absolute standard to adhere to, he jumps at whatever doctrine comes by, even if it's demonstrably unBiblical.

I pray for him and those like him.

  • I dont care even if he could prove it. We all were told the devil will do signs and wonders to decieve if it were possible the elect. What I have a HUGE issue with is his doctrine of devils.

  • purple: And there you have it... even if the miracles are proven, right before your eyes, ( i've seen them happen before mine ) then you will claim its the devil... just like the pharisees of Jesus day... "he casts out satan by beelzebub, the prince of devils"... U should repent and turn to the true Christ.

  • Matt 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Matt For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

  • purpletheologian: Gods word doesn't say that every one that does miracles is a false prophet. There is all kind of power in new age circles with the occult and witchcraft and they give no glory to Jesus. To denounce people that are calling on Jesus is obsurd.

  • Exactly why I said in my previous post my issue was his doctrine of devils. I find it interesting you know about New Age yet lack to see Bentley teaching the same stuff. Astral projection...calling down angels...seers...Kundalini to name just a few.

  • purpletheologian: Witchcraft and the occult have hijacked the power that belongs to the church... all those things in new age are simply imitations of the true power of God.

  • gregladon - Astral projection is NOT of the true power of God. Tell me where it says this in the Bible?

  • Geraldo said he was impressed by the medical verification of the miracles.

  • gregladon, would u please tell me where exactly did u hear or read Geraldo verified todd healings.

  • Denise: I heard that Geraldos producer called the contact at freshfire when he received the documented verifications and said that Geraldo was impressed... as far as i know the investigation is still going on.

  • No look again Geraldo asked for verification. We are still waiting.

  • Geraldo's producer called when they received the first set of documents and said geraldo was impressed...more verification is being sent and the ivestigation is still under way, but it'll make no difference to those that don't want to believe, u guys will then say its the devil doing the healing... no point in trying to verify to critics, yall are doubters in your hearts.... hopefully you're not one of the fearful and unbelieving that will be thrown into the lake of fire.

  • I find it interesting how quickly you condem us to the lake of fire just for being skeptical of a mortal man. There is no question that Jesus died for me and his sacrifice saves me from that fate. But, I question a person that is twisting the word of God to suit his purposes. Where in the Bible do angels come down for a chat??? They deliver the message and go. Where does anyone in the Bible command angels?? I have many questions about this man!!! You should have some too!

  • I would also like to know when Geraldo verified Todd's healings?

  • He boasts he read the whole New Testament in one sitting.Perhaps if he had went to Bible School he would have spent the many hours required to study scripture. Then he would know what the Bible really says.

  • Dulcenaya: Yeah, maybe if Jesus and the apostles would have went to Bible college, oh wait, hold on, they didn't go to Bible college either... so did you go to Bible School? Jesus didn't, and neither did the apostles, you need to repent, you stepped outside of the Word... shame on ya.
