In the film version; why didn't they even try?One was clearly BLONDE and hunky with manners as both Duke boys were. Catherine Bach was smoking, JUST BECAUSE, not because she had to try on screen. just being good and wholesome was good enough to make her desirable.

It was a favorite of mine too when I was a kid in Chicago all I dreamed of was being in the country away from the dammed city and all the stupid people there and I still do. To bad they will not show it on TV anymore and the flag is History and Heritage not hate but people are so stupid.

Man the original characters are the bomb. I love this version much much better than the the one with Jessica simpson, Sean William Scott. Since Willie Nelson is in there cause he's one my favorites, his jokes were funny as hell. All and all, this version kicks ass.

- boss wasnt fat

- Rosco was more of a serious cop

- jessie punches boss hogg(THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN IN THE SHOW)

- daisy was a slut

- swareing and nudity

- all the other cars were up to date(year 2000 - up)

I havnt watched the movie because it looks rubish and they should have made a dukes of hazzard film in the 1980s with the orginal people not people that look nothing like the orginals but they could have at least made them look simler or used some of the orginals people I know uncle jessie and boss hogg is now dead but they could have made it with those 2 dead and rapped the dukes of hazzard up once and for all.

Man, the new movie sucks. Doesn't do the show justice. 1. Jesse only made moonshine ONCE on the show because he made a "promise to the government" that he wouldn't break. 2. Boss Hogg needed to be a big, fat guy, not Burt Reynolds. 3. They needed a moron/toothpick to be Rosco, not some huge guy. 4. They needed a less-whore-ish version of Daisy than Jessica Simpson. They completely screwed-up what people think of the Dukes.

I agree the original t/v show was the greatest and it ROCKS!! when i was a kid i used to be glued to the t/v and watch The Dukes Of Hazzard everytime it was on and also the original Daisy Duke OMG she was a hottie and she still is Barbara Bach now now she can outdo Jessica Simpsons Daisy Duke anytime but on a negative note i think the Dukes Of Hazzard was ABSOLUTE TRASH!! and shouldn'tve been screened..
