  • thanx for posting this one - I am presently studying Kliman's approach to TSSI, ARP's decline, etc. Very interesting. Is there a website where Kliman, Freeman & Co. publish their own version of a "minimal programme", i.e., a programme for socialism in a non-revolutionary phase?

    Cheers,

  • @jogobonito1234 The TSSI field is not a unified political group. The TSSI perspective encompasses a disparate group of thinkers from all over the marxist political spectrum. Andrew Kliman is a member of the Marxist Humanist Initiative. You can read about their views on communism etc at their website. But they are not the type of organization that publishes minimal programs. They are not a party.

  • I was at this conference! I gave a paper on Marxism and ethics that virtually nobody showed up to, but it was a great experience, nonetheless. I didn't see this panel, though, so thanks for posting this.

  • Yes, there low turn-out to a lot of panels. I think it was because there were so many panels going on at once and most of the people at the conference were there to present on panels. Sorry I missed your paper. I think the conference could be organized better by bringing dissenting opinions together on the same panels thus generating better exchange of ideas and consolidating audiences.
