the selfishness that came along with this whole funeral makes me so upset. this funeral wasn't about ami at all, this was about everyone else. i will still remember ami for who she was, not who i wanted her to be. as for the person with the snide little comment, keep them to yourself. don't judge ami's character by how she passed. she was sweet and loving and she would even be kind to someone like you! rip sweet angel.
ps: carrie was found not guilty in the trial on both charges

So who cares? My statement wasn't malicious nor was it personal. I am simply glad this human did not spread her genetics to future generations. She does not seem to have made very smart decisions and natural selection seemed to once again prove its efficacy.

With Ami, it was once... one time. Ami should not be remembered as an "addict" because that would be false. She was nothing less than an amazingly bright and encouraging and gifted young woman. I will miss her smile and her voice and the way she had of telling me it would all be okay. I will miss her SPIRIT.
Could Kathy Mulay have given a more cliche speech? How many times have we heard the "when I looked up (word) in the dictionary," speeches? I mean, come on...she could've at least put a LITTLE effort into this, right? Either way, I totally feel for Ami's mom. It's a damn shame.
All drug addicts self medicate because of anxiety or depression. I am very sorry for the loss of Amy. Many young people are doing the same thing. I nearly died (3 days in a coma in 06) have struggled for years with anxiety and depression, I too self medicated, I was/am a drug addict. Anyone out there that is doing the same thing, don't be embarrased, ASK FOR HELP, it is there for you, many people are there for you, you are not alone. It takes a network to get drugs, it takes a network to stop.
I miss you AMI. you were my cousin. I will always love you. Can't wait to see you in HEAVEN. I miss you so much :(
