  • Hello: Another beautiful song from you. Great for finger pickin'. This will be another song that I will learn to play on my guitar from you. I listened to the others on you tube play this including Mary Black. You are by far the best!!! Like the Dolly Parton song-Do I ever Cross Your Mind. Dolly wishes she could sing it as well. When the girl on American Idol sang it, she could not hold a candle to you singing it. Keep posting. I wish you the best with your new group.

  • Nice one. Wouldn't be a fan of Mary Black per se, but I love that song. Haven't heard it for years. You should come over to Ireland and sing that in a pub somewhere ;-)

  • I love your rendition. Very pretty, and well performed. Good luck, and I would love to

    hear more of your songs.

  • Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!

  • a voice of a angel

  • You have no need to worry about any comparisons with Mary B. Its a stunning version.

I just hope more YT viewers tune into your own song, How Far I Didn't Go, because that is one great song...

    L.

  • Hi Stacey, having subscrided to your self, i like your version of the rose of allandale...but i must point out that the song is neither ... irish or scottish balled , i being scottish thought it was a scottish song but about a maiden from northumberland england , from the 1800`s .. i must put on my own version later on, you can check out my other songs if you like,,BOABSTAR58..and tell me what you think...keep on posting x

  • Hey there! Thanks for the information! I'm happy to be corrected. I'll look forward to your version! Best wishes!

  • I think you did it perfectly!!!

  • I don't know if your Irish accent is right (I'm italian), but this traditional Irish song you did so sweet and with heart, I feel.

    Thanks Stacey

  • Very nice fingers stayle-good voice again*****!!!!!
