Wow! now that their profit went up, I hope they should consider taking Kostas Martakis as their cover model. I am pretty much sure they could afford him, and who knows the profits might just triple. HA!
Like romance, suspense, edgy, fast, riveting reads? You'll love James Whren in REVERB, a must read about a beautiful, rich, master musician who learns to love someone other than himself. Read it reverbnovel or jcafesin dot com...
I grew up reading my mom's Harlequin Romance novels. Every few months she received a box of eight new titles! I don't care too much for the newer ones---much too racy! I prefer the ones from the late 70's and early 80's. I also like covers that are actual hand-drawn or painted art of the characters. I believe a man with the last name of Goldberg (Les? maybe Len?) did many covers in the 80's. My favorite author ever for Harlequin books is Betty Neels. I adore her stories!
Great video. i hadn't seen this before. I am a Harlequin addict i have over 1000 books and have read every one of them at least once....many 3 times or more. I found Harlequin books about 7 years ago and have fallen head over heels in love with them. Everybody loves a happy ending. But the story that takes you there is always unpredictatible or at least entertaining. Here's to another 60 years Harlequin!
::Raises hand:: That was my book! (So cool to find this video here!) The driver who read the passage from my book is one of the nicest guys on the circuit. Truly "hero" material.

"It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it?" If that isn't the most obvious invitation, I don't know what is... LOL

lol! I had no idea they had so many romance genres. I was actually floored by the mention of the Nascar romance thing.
