  • I loved the romance between Prince Caspian and Susan, I just wish it could have continued. I think that they had wonderful chemistry in the movie!

  • Way to ruin Lewis' Narnia, Adamson. :P Spanish-accented Telmarines and our protagonists making out? I don't remember that being in the books.

  • I love the kiss! It is the best part of the movie (Becides the whole movie itself) I loved the movie and this film rocks. The kiss was my favorite part and it was amazing. The song played after it was so sad.

  • Yeah the same goes for me I loved this movie kiss included. And I am going to buy it when it comes out on dvd

  • it's good, because the story was kind of missing something, and when I read the book I thought about tjose two characters that kissed at the end of the movie...it's really good, and they showed it really well, so yeah

  • i liked the romance in the movie i just wished susan and everybody else stayed in narnia cus susan and caspian make a cute couple

  • Yeah me too. And I have noticed alot more people have accepted the caspian and susan romance after seeing the film. I mean look at all the videos here on youtube for example.

  • omg they kissed!!!

  • i think theres nothing wrong with the romance..and nothing wrong is the director added more conflict in the movie.

it makes the movie not so childish.

the director did a great job

  • I was mad when I heard that there was gonna be romance (this is based on a kids book with no ramnce in it!), but after seeing the movie, it didn't ruin the story or nothin and was innocent and subtle enough not to bother me :D

  • you are so right. everyone needs to get over it. Majority wins, more people likes the kiss then those who don't. those who don't just likes to criticize movies that are a success. so please everyone who has a bad additude towards the moive keep it to yourself. The movie is a big hit so deal with it. And about the age difference? get real will you, it's a movie and if it was vased on reality think of mariah and nick and ashton and demi. SHUT UP and move it along.

  • i loved this kiss. i don't see what's so bad about it. any romance makes any movie juicier

  • Well, I have seen the movie jet, and I had read the book, and I think it is interesting to see a movie based on a book, but it isn`t too much interesting when it is COMPLETELY based on the book, directors can add or cut things however they want.

    goodbye!

  • I'm sorry to disappoint all those fans of the books but moviemakers will always add something or change a few things to a story that's not in the original adaptation to get others who don't read the books interested in watching the films. Loving the books is great but to act like it's the end of the world to add a romantic aspect to it is senseless. Those who do love them shouldn't be watching the films anyway cuz they will always be upset with the outcome.

  • while i was watching this movie i was so hoping they would kiss and then they finally do at the end which makes it sweet and sad at the same time.

  • u know y dey changed d story? its a crime 2 make a movie EXACTLY like a book

  • OMG im so sick of people comparing the book to the movie. yes i understand if you love the book and wanted the movie to be the same. well guess what most movies arent. so who cares if they kiss. its the last time she's in narnia and it is what it is. so whatever.

  • thank you for telling me something i already know! but i still don't like it!

  • you are so right. everyone needs to get over it. Majority wins, more people likes the kiss then those who don't. those who don't just likes to criticize movies that are a success. so please everyone who has a bad additude towards the moive keep it to yourself. • Actually, I don't like to criticize successful movies. "Titanic" and "Return of the King" were successful, and I don't criticize them. All I am is a hardcore, by-the-book Narnia fan who is irritated at the uncanonical aspect of the relationship between Susan and Caspian. Don't mind me.

  • I agree, Shelley.

  • I love that movie so much. It's awesome and the kiss was great.

  • the kiss !! susan and caspian !!

  • NIE NIE NIE!!!!TYLKO NIE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

szlak mnie zaraz trafi!!!!Adamson!!jak mogles zrobic to fanom Opowiesci z Narnii?!!!

    nigdy ci tego nie wybacze!!!!!

    Nie pojmuje!!Kaspian i Zuzanna?romans?never!!!

jak mozna bylo dodac taki watek do filmu??

    aaaaaaaa

  • Susan kiss Caspian but they separate in the end bacause Susan go back to London

  • i know. too bad they couldn't get together

  • To my taste what they did between(among) susan and caspian though it did not happen in the book I call mas the tencion of the public here in chili ,the kiss

    good

  • i went to the midnight premiere, everyone cheered during the kiss.

  • That good was the kiss

  • I dont think its bad.......i just saw the movie and thought it was adorable!!!

  • Yeah I mean i agree :)

if caspian married the other girl, i guess susan wouldnt really care. Its just a kiss and it i dont think it would hurt suasan by breaking her heart just because caspian gets married to another girl. I hope they dont put any cheating scenes in the movie like in the 3rd one like caspian cheating on his wife for susan! ahahhahahah im just saying.

  • susan forgot narnia in the end!

  • That suffers!

I hope that they change it, if in it(he,she) finalizes they return less susan change this end me daria great a sorrow(sentence) if not this one

  • he's marrying someone? who? where does it say this? besides susuan can't return to narnia anymore

  • i dont know who hes marrying to but its gonna be in the third one :)

thats all I know and yeah i know about susan :)

  • he marries a star in voyage of the dawn treader.

  • star...?

  • Yeah, but in Narnia stars aren't balls of gas but beautiful human beings. So he marries Ramandu's Daughter.

  • yea the book is great but it would be awsome if they changed it up a bit

  • Oh, and even if they do kiss Caspian is still probley going to marry the other girl. I read the books a few years ago and I don't remember them all vividly but for some reason it DOES seem like Susan was jealous when he got married maybe thats where they are going with this.

  • Susan wasnt there when they got married, but i think your right about him marrying the other girl

  • What dose it really matter if they kiss anyway? Sure Ben Barnes is adorable and I'd trade places with the girl but it is just acting. I mean just because Keira Knightly kissed Johnny Depp in Pirates 3 doesn't mean they fell madly in love.

The book is better than the movie in the first place. And I don't remember Caspian kissing anyone. But he does get married to someone else in the third or forth.

  • yes they kiss i so cant beleve it they make a perfect couple and he is sooooooo hot

  • I agree with you on both things! I think they make a great couple too, but everyone keeps saying how bad it is!

  • haha read the book XD expected this to happen! awaiting the movie :)

  • NO NO NO. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN.

  • ughh! he's to old for her!

  • what r u talking about? in the movie caspian is like 18 or 19 and she's like 16 or 17. thats nothing. my friend is 15 and her bf is 20.

  • in the book caspian is 13

  • I ment in real life Anna is 19 and Ben is 24! and your bf dating someone 20 to her 15 is against the law....

  • ben and anna are fine. and she's not my bf. she's a classmate and its not like they're having sex >:(

  • Well no 19"teen" is still a teen he's an adult 24 and there going against the book! and you said she is your bf sorry and sex or no sex it's wrong!

  • whatever i don't really care its not my problem, its her's so im not involved in anyway

  • sorry if you don't care you don't care and your right it's not your problem...but the "whatever" is because you know it's wrong...

  • hes 26 actually

  • my god sicking...

  • It will probably be just a crush... I dont think it will be a die hard romantic plot line... she probably just kisses him when she is leaving Narnia or when he is being crowned King.

  • Ahhh nãoooo...........Susan and Caspian..Nuncaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Tadin do Peter........................Anna Popplewell♥William Moseley..xD

  • woahhh

i have seen this trailer like a hundred times and I think susan and prince caspian kissing is just normal thing. because in the third movie( voyage of the dawn threader) prince caspian gets married to some other girl."thats what i heard"

  • he does in the book

  • a good 99% of the people in this world who are going to see this movie... probably not narnia fans anyways. your incessant whining will not change the romance. you want the book to stay as is, don't go see the movie and keep your nose in that book because change is inevitable. and just because i enjoy romance does NOT mean i'm not a narnia fan. i've read the books time and time again. you didn't whine about the ice river scene in LWW. that wasn't in the book.

  • thnk u! my point exactly.

  • Well, if you people were die-hard book fans, all the complaining would make sense to you. If this goes too far, Lewis will be rolling in his grave...poor Jack :(

  • sigh. whining is not gonna change the kiss. so either go see the movie and enjoy it and disregard the kiss or just don't go see the movie if you hated it that much. still don't see a point in freaking out about it. movies always have been and always will be different than books. romance is NOT gonna kill the spirit of the books. probably gonna make ppl who haven't read them want to read them.

  • You don't see the point because you're not really a Narnia fan.

And that IS the point. Why should they insert romance?! It's not the only thing worth watching in films you know. It's Hollywood ruining yet another classic.

But yeah. . .maybe to some this will inspire them to read Narnia because of the "romance."

  • i am sorry. someone stole my account. prince caspian Rockssss

  • it's a little weird seeing caspian and susan kiss...but i think the movie is still great! :)

  • Let's make a new tandem! Suspian/Cassan

  • NOOOOO!!! why must people be so incredibly stupid and ruin childhood favorites with unnecessary romance?!

  • Why is Susan kissing Prince Caspian? I don't remember that from the books.

    At All!

  • It's NOT in book :)

  • .... What?! Why is Susan kissing him?! That was -not- in the book.

  • That kiss sucks.

  • This movie looks awsomee

and prince caspian is FINEEE lmaoo =)

  • caspian and susan look cute together!

  • Why, WHY did they do this? Wouldn't it have been easier to just follow the book? Now the later movies will also have to be different in order to account for the deviations in this one.

I just wish they would make the movies based on the books, not typical Hollywood drivel.

Anyway, I still think it will be good; but I would definitely have preferred it without the romantic sideplot.

  • it's so different!!susan kissing caspian is not in the book!

  • I hate Susan for Kissing the 3rd most hottest guy on "my list"!!! by the way, Hayden Christensen is my # 1.

  • They go a little heavy on shots of Susan and Caspian in this one.

  • back at those days a nanny was till the age of 16 at sometimes and given the fact that Caspian was an orphan and Miraz had arranged for his upbringing it's quite understandable.

  • I love the kiss. ;)

  • Does anyone know the song used in the TV spot? I REALLY like it.

  • I wish that romance was in the book...I've always liked the idea. It's a little strange though, particularly considering it can't really go anywhere after that book/movie.

  • I've read the books 5 times each, I live narnia and have my room cluttered with narnia stuff. I actually think this kiss fits with Susan as described in the Last Battle.

  • he would be old and wrinckled at that time-unless you mean it's going again to be a farewell kiss (i think that is what you mean) it doesnt seem to be like a romance to me, a crush and that's all

  • omg Susan kissed Caspian

  • is it a 'hollywood' type romance and not just a little crush? i didn't read Prince Caspian, so i'm not sure why this a huge deal. is it because caspian should respect susan or susan shouldn't be flirting or is it shes too young?i agree romance does spice up a film, but it isn't a requirement for a good movie. the first narnia didn't have any romance and it was good, right?

  • the big deal is it didn't happen in the book, so there making romance where there was none, and Caspian was a little boy in the book, and Susan was quite a few years older than him.

  • At the begining of Trumpkin's tale yes he was a little boy(10), but it says in the text that several years passed under cornelius' tutelage and that he was the same age as Peter when they finally met(16 1/2).

  • 16 or not there was still no romance between him and Susan, and the guy who plays him in the movie is 26 not 16.

  • yeah but romance just makes it better.

and its a huge deal because there was no romance in the book

  • oo la la susan!!! but the guy that plays cspian is like HHHHOOOOTTTT

  • anyone know the music in this clip? i really love it, if anyone knows please tell me

  • who is she kissing? Peter?

  • LOL.

    It's Caspian, actually.

  • Caspian

  • peters her brother. why would you even think that?

  • *LOL*

Why would she be kissing her own brother?

    It's Caspian.

    XD

  • okay. As much as i hate to admit it,I'm kind of looking forward to the romance. from what I've heard it's going to be flirting, awkward glances and the kiss which doesn't seem too bad. as long as they don't go overboard this could be nice to see and could make the plot more interesting since(imo)PC was the most boring to read. i know it's not in the book but you can't expect it to be verbatim and these movies are meant to be entertaining for all not just book lovers. put the book down, and enjoy.

  • Whew! I won't be bored to death after all. I like a lil romance.

  • so do i. it makes the movie better

  • *shrug* I think it was like at the end, giving him a harmless kiss when he is given the throne.

  • ohh no wonder my class mate said it wasn't a good idea to watch it in 30!!! at 00:23 caspian and susan kissed lol!

  • The shot of them kissing was much too brief for me to really pass any judgment. But it certainly will NOT spoil the movie for me, and after being impressed with the first, I have no doubt that this new film will be just as good.

  • WTF UR GAYY!!!!!!!!

  • Damnit! I'm jealous of her!

  • Speaking as another girl, I don't mind if some movies don't have romance. But I'm not freaking out over this. It's a bit weird, yeah, but it's not going to change the entire thing. Thanks for posting this.

  • speaking as a girl... a movie is not a movie without some sort of romance. a book can exist without romance. when it becomes a movie though (and this movie is a little more geared toward older audiences this time than LWW) it'd make it rather dull without a tad bit of romance. not to mention they couldn't really do it in the last one considering the only main human characters were sibs.

don't get your panties in a wad over a kiss. Caspian is still gonna marry the star girl.

  • I agreed with LadyAmaltheaUnicorn.

I think is cute they put some romance into the movie!

Yes, is not and the book, but one kiss will not kill anyone! Just enjoy! =D

  • i agree and i dont know why ppl are making such a big deal out of it.

  • Why are people complaining about the kiss, it's not a big deal. I doubt they're going to suggest it's anymore than a teenage crush.

If you don't want to see anything that isn't in the books than I suggest you stay home and read the books and leave the movies to non-nitpickers

  • Maybe this kiss it is only in trailer. In the movie will be maybe no kissing... I hope so!!

  • whoa! ya'll saw that kiss didn't cha? the book doesn't say any about susan kissing caspian. ah, the movie dudes doesn't make anything much like the book, but hey it kinda looks romantic even though i'm into more of the action. 'kay can't wait for the movie to come out then. X3

  • well i think the kiss is horrible and totally unnecessary to the storyline.

  • Fully agree with you. Besides, it disclaims the idea of the book to make the movie easily accessible to huge mass of fans. I've never expected Adamson and his stage crew to be able to kill the work of C.S.Lewis!

  • oh let it go its a damn movie

  • I can't stop giggling at the kiss. Its totally against the spirit of the book but maybe this is the beginning of susan's demise into the silly side of life rather than what is truly important *hopes*

  • We can only hope it is so. *looks desperate*

  • Right, this is gonna sound shocking amongst those flaming comments about the kiss... But does anybody know what music is used in this one? I know it's been used in another one (or two) spots and I just can't find the track's name and I love it. So... anyone?

  • I don't know the title of the song but on Amazon it has the sountrack and free music samples you can listen to if that helps at all

  • AH she kisses him !!!!!!!!

    it's so cuteeeeeeeee

Yeah maybe it doesn't look like narnia's book

but it's egal to me i like

  • omg!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! im sorr to the guys who think its realy bad though :( i understand it isnt realy adapted and all but i love the idea, besides, susan doesn't return. xxx

  • It's cool with me. I agree with mayamayah, it is a way of explaining her character. Plus a way of saying she's "too old for Narnia". Anyway, I like the idea, just don't kill me here. If the kiss is in the movie, I'll be glad. If it's out, I'll live and then buy the extended DVD edition.

  • watz the problem why every video is no longer available plz post this video again

  • Calm down guys it'll be fine, you'll see

  • Very good point mayamayah. Thanks for all the video comments guys, it's amazing how popular this quickly became

  • glad you approved!think the theme about S afterwards is denial while for the rest of them is faith!S was later in denial so drifted away for the morals and goodfaith that NaRnIa had provided her in the 1st place!might sound nonsense but given her age, highly possible it would happen*wish I could say more about the other books but...spoilers* you'll get the picture if you've read the rest of the books, if I'm right about this idea.

  • thank you again for sharing! can't wait till the movie comes out!watch for the surfers!need reports and footage!smootses!

  • Your welcome I will record a couple hours of saturday to see if there is anything new and hopefully record stuff from it and post it up. I am sorry that alot of you Narnia fans disapprove of the kiss and that's fine it's your own opinion after all but please don't post the disapproving comments anymore

  • it would be almost impossible for her to foget narnia if she gets that much emotionly involved with caspian

  • on the contrary she might actually feel that Narnia and Aslan were are either unfair or just a fairytale and the life she is supposed to live afterwards is pointless. She was thrown to Paradise and then taken out again, at her age it would be devastating.

  • oh...i never thought of it that way.very good point

  • Interesting.

Well she does have a history of believing what she wants to think versus what she really thinks (when Lucy sees Aslan in the book of PC).

I've also been thinking that her being attached to Caspian will make her role in The Last Battle harder on the fans, which heretofore I assumed they'd try to soften. It will also make fans more reluctant to accept Ramandu's daughter, which is unfortunate. Basically, to make this one more newcomer-fan pleasing, they've made the later ones less so.

  • Susan never forgets Narnia, she pretends it never happens. Kissing Caspian won't change that.

  • films for kid's doesn't mean that there isn't be love. For example "Sleeping Beauty" or something like that. :P

But love with Susan and Caspian is...it so different than book...maybe director is fan of Susan? In the 7th Susan isn't great character so...Well, we don't know what's happened when she kiss him. Maybe it's last kiss because she now that she never go to Narnia again? The goodbye kiss...we'll see, it's only 15 day! Stop, you'll see on 16.05 Ill see about 25.05 :/ polish dubbing...

  • I wonder if it's too late for the filmmakers to cut this out if they see the overwhelmingly negative response from fans. I seriously almost burst into tears when I saw that. I've been in denial about this issue for over a year, but it can't be denied any longer.

I still think it's going to be a good film, but watching this TV spot felt like a bunch in the stomach.

  • *sigh* The Narnia I remember is no more.

  • exactly

  • Meh.

I guess it does forshadow Susan trying to grow up to a certain age, and then try to stay that age forever... :(

  • Oh deal with it morons. The books are so simple that they have to spice things up for the movie

  • Was that a kiss? It was a kiss! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! *happy dances* They kiss!!!!! Sorry.....I'm such a sappy, helpless romantic! *runs away from the 'book purists*

  • ugh ugh ugh noo!!

  • woowowow.... they do kiss

  • (me still thinks "SHE kissed HIM")

  • OH MY GOSH! THEY KISS!!!

  • Dude, i knew it.

I saw that very same picture in the companian book.

Like the picture of them all dressed up and they were just looking down at their feet...XD

  • 0_o Okay....

  • SHE kisses him!
