  • this guy snag a few hits of acid or what

  • I agree with title, but not sure what your talking about in the video.

  • oh and no one is "just a mortal"

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA YES I HAVE FOUND YOU! THE STUPIDEST CHRISTIAN IN THE WORLD! GOD IS A WORD! WORDS ARE PRODUCED BY LIFE, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YOU ARE BRAINWASHED TO THE POINT OF PURE IGNORANCE, HONESTLY YOU ARE THE NEW JESUS, GO NOW AND PREACH YOUR STUPIDITY TO THE WORLD. YOU CAN LEAD GOD's ARMY TO VICTORY AND SALVATION.

I AM GOD. MY TRUE NAME IS AOEL

    ALPHA OMEGA ETERNAL LIGHT

    ADAPTIVE OPTICS of ELECTROLUMINESCENCE

best part is, i'm just a mortal. we are all truly god. awaken

  • @GodisLight11 look in the mirror. the light of judgement is bright and it illuminates much. it is easy to shine this light on others but very hard to shine it in your own eyes without going blind. the new age religion is just that; another religion as is luciferianism.

  • poetic! eternity seeking the experience of mortality through us.. god seeking a the experience of a dying light through us beautiful, man.

  • God is not in need of us, God does not need us for his mortaility, God is all power and He is mortal with or without us.---other than not clearly seeing what you mean, you did put it in good verses and very well done. But the truth is very important to be told correctly.

  • Overall, I find this poem impressive. But how is the first statement a "presumptive" thing to say? I'm sure most people would agree that God is laughed at by a lot of people, worshipped in fear by others, and "understood" by only a few.

  • @Scorner99 truly understood by no man :-)

  • I think you would count as one of my favorite people.

  • They interviewed an old man who prayed here every day, He said it was like talking to a wall.

  • This is a wonderful poem. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • that's one of the most beautiful pieces of poetry ive ever heard. Glad to see you've been holding onto youtube for so long Matt. You seem to have reached a place of such clarity :)

  • That was beautiful.

  • So, God just wants to die.

There is a short story by Asimov about that. It had the virtue of at least being somewhat funny.

  • This has all happened before and it will all happen again. Like the ouroboros swallowing it's own tail in to non existance in it's infinite cycle.

Sleep evolved in humans to depict the eternal state of awake and dreams of the eternal consiousness. Which none of us can remember. But is recorded perfectly.

  • i recognize the soundtrack as being from requiem for a dream.

everyone is lacking a certain aspect of god. you may be in the stranglehold of seriousness.

surely you're aware of the importance of humor.

  • This is the Spinoza's God?

  • Has anybody here posting comments had the opportunity to watch the documentary "Promises" by filmmaker B.Z Goldberg? Some of the segments can be caught here in the tube. The practice of study was puzzling. Not trying to take away just trying to add perspective as to how a word gets conceptionalized.

  • Good video, thanks!

And nice to see my note is still there in the split.

  • Very nice!

  • hmm... well what about life forms from other planets solar sytstems universes even do they need see or know god

  • Let me have a religious thought...mmm..God hates faggots!

  • Namaste

  • Nice imagery.

  • Very thoughtful.

I like Joseph Campbell's definition of God as a metaphor/myth for the mystery of existence.

"The idea of a god, is the god." -- Alan Moore.

  • Requiem for a Dream music, very nice.

I was about to make a video about this subject, but you addressed it in a much better way than I could have.

  • A very poetic piece. It should be played to a video of young children rocking their bodies for 12 hours a day in the study of it.

  • *~*

  • Nice, Featured.

  • "God from within as the call the live with love while growing old, to shed one's skin as an ouroboros, akin to the fateful tides of time."

    Well spoken, Matt...

  • Very beautiful, thank you : )

  • keep the faith alive, brother, lawl.

  • beautiful Matt.. thank you.

  • very poetic & true

  • I think thunderf00t did a poor job debating Comfort for having most arguments on his side. He was stuttering and repeating himself and Comfort, the stupidest man on earth, came close actually tieing the debate.

  • Hmmm.... I must be getting more sentimental the older I get. This one moved me very much. What an interesting mind you have. Kind regards,

  • This is beautiful Matt and it has given me much to think about. Your perspective is one that I do not understand but I will work to realize.

  • YES...the seamless transparency! Very beautiful, isn't it, Matt

  • the proof of the retardedness of this is found is Christ! God desended became flesh and DIED!!! He did, that so we could JOIN him in eternity! This is a rediculous consept, more new age nonsence. Pressed forth by the elite of this world that worship satan and long for the demise of Christianity.

  • Just as I'm tired of people being scared of death I'm also tired of people dramatizing it as if its some sort of sacred event. Blah.

  • God wants to die? Hmm fascinating concept. Or perhaps to sleep per chance to dream? Wake up Neo....

  • Although I'm not sure that we are the only animal which can die willingly, we do seem to be the only animal which can talk, as we know it, about death ... I totally agree that if there be the god, it made us because it needed to, perhaps had to, as creating/destroying is what a god is. I enjoy your poems even more than your vlogs, Matt. 5*

  • Beautiful as always! Touching in so many ways. You my friend are a magnificent poet! And Clint Mansell in the background just made this all the more powerful. Thank you!

  • This will sound strange, but... if was dying, if I at this moment had a serious illness and knew I didn't have long, I'd listen to this throughout the day. To make sure I passed peacefully and willingly.

  • i would say something, i could hear something, a sign o, thingsome, a sightful.

  • Jonas would be proud. This is very nice.

  • what do the people stuff in them there cracks?

  • thats the wailing wall, it's the last standing wall of the old temple in jeruselem and the only wall built by the poor. After the romans destroyed it, this wall was mirraculously still standing, so people from all faiths come here to write prayers down on paper and stick it in the cracks on the wall hoping that the martyrs who dided in the sacking of jerusalem, will bring there prayers to God.

  • prayers

  • Thanks Matt!

  • humans... or machines can possess intelligence. our best effort is to investigate that intelligence within a construct of religious scientific inquiry.

  • This is great....are you reading from a text or is this an original?

  • o rig

  • NICE!!!!

  • Hey man this is a very intelligent poem here. Woud you mind if you could elaborate on this for me because im having a little trouble understanding what youre trying to portray. But that is a good thing it shoes your use of figurative language and many rhetorical devices.

  • Cool poem, Matt.

  • "shed one's skin as an Ouroboros" nice

  • Good vid, matt.
