  • Spain officially was neutral, but the fascists of franco (specially the falange) wanted to enter the war, Franco sent a division against the russians, and the Republicans (exiled militians) joined in the french army, some others in the french resistance and anothers also with fought alongside the partisans from the URSS and another occupied countries. The Spaniards were involved during the WWII in both sides.
