Jack would make an excellent candidate for playing the Joker in a sequel of the Dark Knight set years later.

He is a good actor, though the 1989 joker was on retrospect fucking terrible, but that's not his fault, everything was horribly corny during that time with Batman.

eh i dunno, he acts like he is aware of the audience and trying to show off, it's like comparing the original Freddy Krueger with the reimagined one, there's horribly corny which kind of downplays any of the violence and makes it basically Comical which the original Freddy did but went a bit too far as the movies went.

Then you have Heath's Joker and Jackie Earl Haley's portrayal of Freddy which takes the role with somewhat relentless sincerity.

Robert Englund was good in the beginning but after the 3rd movie and onwards the movies basically became aweful and Freddy was just some weird murderer that makes punch lines, and if your watching a horror movie and you are relating to the villain through catchy puns and jokes, it's time to turn it off.
