thats a ram air intake a cold air intake has the filter outside the engine bay,,some kids started calling all the intakes cold air because they watch fast and the fagyest and think they know how things are ,,,lol,,dyno charts show that even if that will pull hot air it will flow better then cold air intakes will and make better numbers,,warm air intake out perform cold air intakes by 2hp at the lest,,look up different brands with ram air numbers and cold air numbers and you will see,i was shkd

Took me a while to... they had to special order it.

OMG was that a 307? Bad ass little small block, and it'll fit a 327 Corvette race cam if you can find one, which you want to. Good sound, too.

@donscell It looks so small cause i put in a 3 inch body lift which makes the engine look small because it sits lower than the rest of the body.

haha yeah i here ya..i got mine in storage right now, its actually for sale...engine, tranny, and rear end are all brand new, less than a year old, bodys in great shape, its got a fairly new jet black paint job, 4:10s, auburn posi, shift kit, corvette servo, oil cooler, etc...its a strong truck but i need a work truck for spring whcih is why im selling it...i dont know if your interested, engine has a 4 year warranty left from GM, 6 month warranty from T&C tranny, let me know anyway..

thats an airaid i have one for my 89 chev 350..they SUCK..DO NOT buy one! the aluminum gets waaay too hot and completely ruins the whole point of having a cold air intake

i have a 89 chevy too! with a 350, i just put a K&N air intake in it. Flowtech headers getting put on it next week.... but i wish my truck still had the 454 in it. that would be sweet.

flowtech long tubes? i got those on mine lol be careful though, like any header, they rust really fast. yeah the 454 would have been sweet but the MPG's would have been horrible..at least with the 5.7 they are "moderate"...the new GM 5.7 i got in mine, it gets like 700Kms to a tank, but its also brand new, so...

i couldn't get the long tubes. i tried a few months ago but the frame was in the way so i had to get shorties. but i'm saving up my pennies so i can buy a new crate engine. i was thinking of getting a 396. cuz my truck is just for summer, its a 2WD and sucks in the snow.

@longie88 put sum Super swampers on it. an it wont matter .. haha might need a body lift. Cheap an easy to install... i did it to mine.. 3inches...take another look
