Guys, first thanks for the video. It worked perfectly. I didn't used the File3 cause i just wanted to istall chickhen (sorry if i write it wrong) firmware so if you want it (chickhen) too, you do not have to use the File3. Also works on psp 02g, tested yesterday and worked perfectly.

hi i followed all the instructions and everything went well until i tried to instal 5.03 i did the papton thing and it worked it went to hen and then i enabled the thing u said to do so it could fake it so i could do the 5.03 update but when i start the update it goes black then it sits there then it turns off and i have to turn it back on its not bricked and its 3g and i formated the memory stick and everything and i was like wtf its still at 6.20 so plz help

6.20 PRO B6 is WAAAAAAAY better than 5.03 GEN, i would just install PRO B6 permanent. Its permanent cfw so you dont have to install it every time you start your PSP. If you check my channel, I have a video on how to downgrade 6.31/6.35 to 6.20 PRO B6, just pick up the video after I downgrade to 6.20, and follow the steps to install PRO. It supports PSN without a plugin, PSX games, badass themes, much much better

@motadoros Charge your battery to full charge, and try again. Sometimes it freezes when battery is low. Keep trying, it will work.

@FILIP1901160597 First and foremost 6.35 M33-2 IS FAKE. So with that being said, I would definitely downgrade. I wouldnt bother with 5.03 GEN though, you would be better off with 6.20 PRO B5. Check my channel for info on PRO B5 and how to downgrade from 6.35

Lol, so this actually worked! xDD Shame that I can't get my saved game data back from Media Go since I'd have to upgrade back to ver6.38. So, what do I do with this firmware? Lol of course I didn't check first what I can do with it. Somewhere it said you can't play ISO games with it, and that was actually the only thing I wanted home brew for.. xD Is there a safe way to upgrade back from this? Hey guys. So I previously commented saying that when me psp booted into 5.03, the screen turned white. Well that happened, but I did some research on how to fix it! First, make sure your psp is completely off. Hold down these buttons: start, select, triangle, square. Then proceed to hold the on switch upwards, but hold it there until the orange light on the left of the psp starts flashing. Then let go. The settings will then pop up booting into the firmware! NO BS! I'M DEAD SERIOUS!!!

@Runescapeing99 Just keep trying, it will eventually work. When i made this video, it took my 4 tries before it worked. If you are using 6.31, try using updating to 6.35 first, the downgrader seems to work better in 6.35 than 6.31 for some reason.

After downgrading the system to 6.20 TN-B, I then went to updating it to 5.03 (Yes I did the fake index.dat and everything you did). But once I booted up the update, it said ' The update cannot be started. The data is corrupted. (SGT90000001)'. I kept repeating it and it still didn't work. I tried downloading other 5.03 ofw updates and still ended up with the same thing. Any ideas?
