Nah. You fight her once & then get her in your party around two chapters after the fight. Ix is the final boss, but hes actually really just a big pushover. Shade is awesome though!

Shade was easy, even on my first playthrough.

Now the 3 version 2 Swatbots were the hardest enemies in the whole game. I thought the final boss would've been hardest, but nope. I think the 50hp regeneration and power of those 3 Swatbots is what made them so hard for me.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the game to be honest, I'd not seen much, but I bought it, and it's actually pretty good. It's not going to bring about a new Sonic age anytime soon, but it's a start.

you're entitled to your opinion, RikuJerrad, but if you've played any games developed by Bioware (KOTOR, Mass Effect) you should know that there is no way that this game will suck. And if you haven't played either of those games, i pity you.

And lastly, though i am a Sonic fan, i do have to agree with you on the point that sonic has been blowing monkey chunks in recent years.

I love Sonic and I believe IGN is just either too biased, or just too old to get into anything new school that's not SUPER BLOODY. Heck IGN gave Sonic Chronicles a 6.5. Eurogamer(7), Game Informer(8.5(, Nintendo Power(8) and 3DJuegos(8.5) rated the game higher so I think I just am not looking towards IGN on game decisions.

didnt they say that when the war between the echidna clans began tikal and her clan was gone not to mention they said that the atackers were also gone but they said that they made a robotic famale which is shade so maybe thats why she went after knuckles becuase maybe remebering the clans is the reason why shade took knuckles so this is interesting becuase now there talking about the echidna clans maybe they will say what happened to them all not to mention why they even had the war

Where on earth did you hear that? If it's from a game than none of that happened. The basic thing is that Tikal's FATHER'S clan was trying to take over other areas (Un named areas) and they were gonna start by taking the emeralds from Chaos. Chaos killed all of them, except Tikal who was sealed inside the Master Emerald. All the Echidnas are dead unless you want to count Tikal.
