Are locates barks rare?

No not really a good dog will throw some locates on track and some dogs throw a big bawling locate before it trees. Then again some dogs just bark on track then chomp on tree. Depends on the dog. I like to here some locates myself.

i heard one of the pups in the video had like a really high pitched howl...well i have an english bluetick and hes about 1 or 2 and his howl is a like screech its really high pitched he kinda sounds like an elk lol is that normal then for english blueticks?

Blueticks Some have a loud locate i was in a hunt one time and the dog located for 10 seconds drowned out all other dogs. If you got a dog with a good locate and can make him a coon dog he will be worth some money.

I will train as soon as possible but then I like to hunt alot. Now woods hunting dont come until they are not old but big enough to stay up with an other dog or atleast able to do something on there own and not get wore out to quick.
