Looking back on Vilsack's term when Culver took over for him yesterday, I have to disagree with those who said he was a bad governor. He created thousands of jobs and he drastically lowered the amount of meth labs in Iowa. These are just a few of his accomplishments!
An Iowa Poll conducted in June indicated that if the Iowa caucuses were held then, only 10% of likely caucus goers would support Vilsack. That's not a very good showing, especially considering he is the Governor of the state! Maybe Hillary will choose him for her running mate! He has not been a very good governor.

Your question is irrelevant concerning the matter of whether Vilsack is a spammer. The question that is relevant is "Alan, did you sign up to this email list using a secure confirmed-opt-in procedure?"
If you are still interested in the answer to your question, then no, of course I am not a registered Democrat, I am British and have never been to the US. I have also never signed any of my spamtrap addresses up to any list, otherwise they would be useless as spamtraps.
If by "uses the web" you mean "sends unsolicited bulk email" then that makes every candidate a spammer. If that is the case then don't vote. Voting for a spammer who is trying to get your vote is as bad as buying viagra from one who is trying to sell you viagra. It encourages them and makes you complicit in filling our inboxes with crap.
It will be a tough battle to actually get to the Presidency. His record in Iowa isn't great and there are quite a few people in the rural areas that won't vote for him in the caucuses. He's going to have to first prove himself to the state of Iowa if he expects to have a chance.

Despite serving two terms, in a state that has been as radically conservative as Iowa, I doubt Vilsack was a bad governor.
But I'm from California. We're used to bad governors.
