omg! i didn't know these guys were out again! i miss those guys! Mark & I traded necks from our Ibanez 550s. he wanted maple, i wanted rosewood, but i was bummed because my headstock was fourescent orange, matching both of our guitars, but his was black, so in the end, mine didn't look like i wanted it to.

This guys doin' a great carl albert! great vibrato, like carl's. is mark & dave starr still in the band? ok... solo time. i guess that's not McGee. oh well. but they sound as vicious as ever!

Dave Starr left, came back, left again and has his own band Wylde Starr now. Mark left 15 years ago and plays with Gregg Allman and doing solo projects around the Bay Area now.

I played w/Thorpe in 1982 before VR had an album. Best singer in metal next to Dio was Carl Albert.

This is Ronnie Stixx on vocals. Geoff Thorpe physically assaulted James Rivera at the end of the previous European tour and that was that.

I agree with ya there VR just ain't been the same since Carl died. I knew him back in high school (Sonora, CA). But they are still a good band

This is great and awesome classic VR!!! Ronnie sounds damn good,and I comend him on a great job!!! There aint to many vocalist that can touch the late great Carl ALBERT. There is one that really sounds close, Ronnie Hemlin of Steel Attack.

Great band, great performance, great musicians, great singer and I saw the band live at Aardschok day in Zwolle about 20 years ago. They were an awesome band at that time and that hasn't changed.

I was there..great show and Ronnie is a great singer. I'm a carl Albert (RIP) Fan, and VR without Carl will never be the same. But the new line up kicks ass and Ronnie is getting close. The best line up (and singer) since Carl past away. VR Rules!!

Very good concert, great band. Worth attending! Hopefully we'll see them live next time they visit the Netherlands as well!
