I know it's a joke and all, but the number thing comes from Germanic languages. German numbers are practically the same. 1-12 have their own names then you go to the base ten - the numbers are far older than the Arabic numeral base-10 adoption. Traditional multiplication tables go to 12*12=144. If we had a base twelve numbering system, this may make sense, otherwise, it seems weird. Why does it stop with the square of 12 and not 10 or 15?

During Econ, we had to do two things for the final: write the vocab terms from chapters 1-12 (a lot of words) and a stock sheet (a lot of bull shit). Both were worth 60 points. Most people and I b.sed our stock sheets and I didn't realize we were suppose to write down the vocab terms instead of studying them. Turns out, it didn't matter because I still passed. I have no idea how I got through high school

I had a vocab final one day and the way I study was gliding my hand over the paper at super speed. Since I'm half black and half Korean, my friend was like "Jesus, she kicked into her Asian powers". Guy: she just absorbs the information through her hand. I ended up with a C. All my other vocab quizzes I got 100% on! But I'm graduated, so I don't care anymore
