I saw some comments stating how intelligent this bird is. But the parrot is not really "intelligent".
The parrot has a good memory and can associate words said by his trainer and the words it has to say in reply. The trainer has to be careful in not saying two "command words" at once.
This cute parrot would be intelligent if it could say, "I didn't understand what your command word was; so I don't know what I shoud say, so can you repeat that?~please?"~ ;-D
@Gustaf69 most scientist say that the crow is the most intelligent bird. They are the only bird that uses tools.. ie the figuired out how to use the cars to open nuts plus they know when the cars stop to get the food safely
Its actually a fact african greys which this is are the most intelligent bird and have been provin to be able to feel what items are and state what it is like a toy car... or even know upto 20,000+ words
Lol, pretty fun when someone says this is fake. Parrots are known to be very intelligent birds and you can learn them to say lots of stuff especially this so called Jacko. I had one once but i gave it away because it was too much to handle for me.
Truly amazing, what a lovely character these parrots have, not only to mimic but to memorise as they do, great fun to watch, dedicated owners too, thanx for posting. Emma.x
lmao! Thank you for posting this comment. Now every time I see the judges (I think they are) I see them looking horny too lol! Especially that blond woman ^_^ If her mouth goes wider her face will split in half ;)
My neighbor has an AG Parrot and it rules the roost. Zaza runs the house. She tells you what she needs and if her needs aren't met, she lets you know, so you must comply. She's psychic as well. She communicates all day. Zaza is an actress!
red tailed parrot, huh? how about the REAL name...African Gray Congo. awesome bird with a good trainer. She must have worked forever with the bird...awesome!
Parrots fucking kick absolute arse. Something about them pierces my protective wall of cynicism and plugs into the gurgling child region of my brain. Brilliant creatures.
hmmm interesting but i'd like to see the bird interact with someone other then the owner. it is probably trained to make to sound effects and say words in order, practiced thousands of times over and over
I personally own an African Grey Perrot and they do for a fact know how to talk. I have been able to have a small conversation with the bird, and it makes perfect sense. If a phone rings, the bird will say hello, if someone walks in the house, the bird will call their name and say hello. If the cat is at the door, he will say that the cat wants to go out, or the same with the dog. They are extemely smart.
Thats a red tailed grey parrot. Your probobly thinking of the mccaw which is does have a developed brain but the that bird has the intelegence level of a 3 year old. I know i work for an exotic animal store so dont test me!!!
The bird does not come up with the answers. It's trained to make the sounds in a specific order. Birds don't have developed braines. It's not really thinking but I don't thing that it's a machine.
Birds do have developed brains! Ever heard of Dr. Irene Pepperberg's Alex? It has been scientifically proven that birds can indeed think, and come up with the correct answers to questions.

What a wonderful parrot!! I know they are extremely intelligent(I have a Senegal who can imitate, and anticipate any sound in the house, from the creaky floor to the sound of the screen door closing) but this Grey is so special! Thank you for sharing!
This bird is smarter than a lot of people walking around...
